Pain

Okay lets try this again..... I have pain in my chest area and it goes through the middle of my back.  It hurts to breathe or anything else.  Have any of you experienced this or know why it would happen?  If so please let me know...... Hugs Marsha

Okay, so not sure if I should be replying to you or Tracy, but call the doctor.  It certainly could be an ulcer.  Have you tried any Prilosec?  Could be bad heartburn or you could have something stuck.  I've heard a sip of Coke helps to dislodge stuck items or warm drink will help.   I would certainly make sure to call if you don't get relief soon. The pain last for a few minutes and goes away.  This is the third time now that it has happened in the last 3 months.  I don't always feel like that THANK GOD.....

I had pains like that with my gall bladder. I would call the Dr and have it checked out for sure. Hope you feel better!

Thanks Kris, I had my gall bladder out the day of surery so I wouldn't have to worry... So I don't think thats it.  I am going to the citites on tues for a dr appt so I will ask then.  Thanks and I hope your doing well.  Hugs Marsha

I have had that. Mine was sharp and through the back. It is most likely heartburn. When you get it, try to see what you are eating... it might be triggered by something specific.  When I went to the doctor, they found H-pylori virus... but that was after persistent pain. When I get the  pain you describe, I just take short breathes until it goes away.

Thanks so much for the info.  Today when it had happened I had a couple little sugar free oatmeal cookies.  They were the size of a quarter.  That was the only thing.  Weird huh......I will keep an eye out on what i eat......
