Snow, Snow and more snow

I know we live in Minnesota but this is insane.......We got 7" of snow already and it's the heavy wet kind, it's so hard to shovel. I only shovel our cement pad, the neighbor comes to plow the driveway as it's 500 feet long. So I'm snowed in till he comes.......They say maybe 4-8 more inches by Saturday afternoon. OMG! It's great snowman weather, my son & I already built one this morning and had a snowball fight. Please drive careful. Kelly

Yea it's not very nice out today!! Who would of thought we would have such a mixture of weather.  We had lighting and thunder while snowing last night. It was so icky out I brought my horses in to the barn...and kept them in today.  They arent happy with me!!!  But at least they are warm. Crazy Minnesota weather!! ~Jodi~

We've just got rain thank goodness but last night was interesting... it snowed, rained, thundered and lightninged, hailed and sleeted LOL all that was missing was the tornado!  SPRING WHERE ARE YOU ALREADY!!!!!!!!!

What bummer all we got was rain rain and more rain.

lol... I work in a newsroom and as soon as the snow hits... that's all we do... snow driving, snow men, snow plows, snow accidents.... ugh. lol Can't wait for spring stories!! :-) 

Yeah--it was quite the bummer to wake up to SNOW this morning!   I had been feeling rather smug because we had managed to avoid the blizzards that everyone had been getting. IT WAS OUR TURN--and we got 7" with winds that caused white-out conditions--until early afternoon, when the wind toned down and snow stopped.  We might get another 10 cm by morning, but it's gonna warm up so it might make traveling even more dangerous, with freezing rain. AT LEAST IT WON'T STAY! Keep warm and have a good weekend!

Kelly...I am with you....this is enough!!!  They are predicting temps around 70 degrees for Tuesday!!! Jamie, Nic and Grace were leaving to go back to Iowa this morning. They went about three miles and came back. White out conditions and cars in the ditch was enough for my daughter to go no further. Now I get to spend a little more time with them...that is a blessing. They will try it again tomorrow. Nic had to miss chemo this morning but the doctor said it will be okay. Hugs, connie d
