I notice the weight loss...

I notice the weight loss on my body every where except my tummy.  I can tell my legs are smallar, my hands are smaller, my face is smaller, my chest is smaller but my stomach looks like it did 3 months ago.  In pants I've gone from a size 28 to a 18/20 but in shirts I've gone maybe from a 26/28 to a 24/26.   Is this like the last place I'll notice the weight loss?

Kathy, I've noticed with myself too that the tummy is the last thing going down.......I really wi**** would catch up to the rest of me........ You've done great.......I guess we just have to be happy with what we have lost in other places. Kelly

Hang in there!  Just keep following what you should and it will go!  We are all unique and your way of losing is just showing it's self.  I know it can be frutrating!  My hips were the stubborn part for me and ALWAYS has been!  HANG IN THERE!

I hear ya, Kathy - I feel much the same way.  I've gone from 32's in jeans to 18's, and although I can wear some 14/16's in tops, I just can't seem to shave my stomach down to where I'd like it to be.  It's frustrating, to be sure, but I'm also learning to realize that it IS shrinking, on it's own schedule, more or less.  I figure I could do sit-ups and crunches to help, but given my history of 4 abdominal hernias, I'm pretty skittish about doing those, too.  Some of it is just muffin top, some of it is skin that won't be sucking up anytime soon.   Just be sure to pat yourself on the back for all the loss you CAN see, and know that the rest will follow!  If you're at all like me, a "lifetime fatty", you don't know what your shape is supposed to be underneath it all!  I, for one, never considered the possibility that my thighs would stop rubbing together.  But they have!  So I'll see what my belly will look like once I've lost as much as I can!  Just keep doing what you're supposed to, it'll happen!

I'm right there with you!  I've got a long way to go, but I can really tell/see the difference everywhere but my stomach.  Granted, I've gone from a 32 pant to a 22.   But, as they say - good things come to those who wait :)
