Anyone have Dr. Lentz in Duluth Mn? how'd ya like him?

Just wanting to see what others have to say about  their experience with Dr. Lentz.  He was at St. Marys now is the big guy over at St.lukes.  Thanks all Jill

Lori did have Dr Lenz and had her surgery done at St Luke's so hopefully she'll reply to you.   My husband works there and knows him and has only good things to say about him.

Hi Jill Yeppers I had Jay Lenz as my surgeon and as far as I'm concerned he's the best there is!  I was the first RnY that he performed at St. Lukes. I came out of lap RnY with NO PAIN...  I wasn't doing cartwheels but I didn't HURT!  sore yes and stiff but no real pain  :) I just had my gall bladder out wit him last Thursday at 1230pm and was home by 7pm with once again minimal to no pain (the gas pains in the shoulder were all that bothered me and you can't avoid those. The guy is a surgeon god as far as I'm concerned and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone  :) He is nice, fairly soft spoken, gentle and considerate.  I also like that I see him around with his family and he's a great dad  :)  means a lot in my book. If there is anything special that you want/need to know feel free to ask!

THANK YOU FOR POSTING BACK TO ME. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAD HIM 10-11 MONTHS  AGO AND THE SURGERY WENT WELL. SHE HAS NOT HAD ANY ISSUES AT ALL. SHE IS DOWN 100 +LBS AND FEELS GREAT. SHE ALSO SAID  SHE WAS NOT SORE OR IN MUCH PAIN AT ALL. IT IS HOWEVER GREAT TO HEAR FROM MULTY SOURCES. THANK YOU SO MUCH. TAKE CARE  JILL

Jay Lenz did my RNY almost 3 years ago at St Mary's. He's a terrific doctor and very compassionate.  I recommend him whole-heartedly. I was amazed at the size of his  hands!  Like baseball mitts!  But they obviously don't affect his ability to operate.

Thank you for posting back to me! I had a friend who said the same thing about his hands!
