You wanna know something, Kelly? I still have those "I can't do that to a poor horsie!" tapes playing in MY head, too! And I still weigh LOTS more than you do!! But back in March when I was worried about going riding with my daughter's class, it was JODI that encouraged me to go! And I thought - if SHE thinks I can do it without injuring the beasts, then I really ought to go for it! So I did, and I had a fantastic time!!! Still, fear is fear - whether it's your weight or just getting on the back of such a big animal. So if 'n when we get another chance, just tell yourself that you do NOT want to be disappointed with yourself. That if you get home and have to admit to yourself that you passed up the opportunity, you'll kick your butt into next week. Next MONTH! I've said this before, but that thought has given me the courage to do some of the most incredible, memorable things I've ever done in my life! And I don't regret a one of them!

A friend of mine took a picture of Zoie and I at one of our horse shows a few wknds ago, and I almost cried because I still feel like I am so big that I over power Zoie and by that I mean, you see me more than you see her....lol. So even with my weight loss I feel like I am to big for her, I am hoping that feeling goes away soon and I can become more confident in my riding. The horse show Saturday is at the Isanti Fairgrounds if anyone wants to see us in action. The first class starts at 7:30 am and I am thinking we may be done showing by noon. I am hoping it will be a good day for us, although with the weather, I might not get any practice time :o( Kelly, if you would rather come out by yourself or with your hubby you just let me know and you can come out and ride Zoie anytime...maybe you would feel more comfortable that way? ~Jodi~

Jodi, I'm going to ask hubby if he wants to come watch you at the horse show, that would be neat. I'll PM you and let you know if were gonna go. He gets back from his business trip Thursday afternoon, so I'll let you know by Friday night. Are you serious? I might just take you up on coming over with hubby, he LOVES horses, I think as much as Darla.

I'm afraid he really would want one after seeing your horses. I might feel more comfortable getting on & riding Zoie with just hubby there. Thanks for the offer, and your only 16 minutes from me. Kelly

LJ, You look fabulous, I just can't get over how different you look. I like the new hairdo. 54 pounds is awesome, WTG. I chickened out, I didn't get on the horse.

But I will next time.......... I'm getting a new hairdo on Thursday. I haven't been to a salon in 3 years. I've been cutting my own hair. She's going to do foils and a trim....Not sure what else....I'm ready for a new "ME." Kelly

All I can say is...glad I missed it! My number one fear in life is horses. They terrify me!!!!! I just added your purple toe to my list of reasons to avoid horses. Loved the pics though. You are looking so good and Squishy is just too cute for words!
