Glad you are home and on the mend-and thanks for telling us what it felt like. Anyone can get one-even if it is statistically only 2%, there is no way to know who the lucky ones will be! Hi Barb,
Sorry to hear about your experience with the obstruction. It sounds horrible and when my Mom whent through it in the Spring she wa saying almostthe same things as you. "It didn't hurt this much when I gave birth to you". Inasmuch as I am almost 67, and she is almost 88, I am surprised she can remember if I did hurt her. However, I do recall the pain when my last 11 lb. 13 oz. boy was born 42 years ago and if it was anything like that.......No, thanks. I don't every want to experience an obstruction. Glad you got to the hospital before it burst.

I would have been scared to death. How you drove yourself to the hospital is beyond me. You are a very strong person that's for sure!!
