My 6 year anniversary tomorrow

I miss all you guys. I had such a great time in May when I got to see you guys. I so missed being able to come to your craft party. I do crafts everyday and love, love, love to crochet.

I'm not sure when I'll be back since both my wonderful daughters are here now, but we'll see. I would really love to come back for the State Fair. Our fair here is so small. I really miss the good ole Minnesota State Fair.

Peggy, I love and admire you so much.    You are the first post op I met (all those years ago) and a wonderful lady you are for sure...  congratulations!!

I just realized it's almost 5 years since my first WLS...oh boy, where does the time go?

Thanks sweetie. I love you too. I imss you. I wish we had been able to connect when I was back there in May. Hopefully next time we can get together.  With Linnea and Jennifer here now, I'm not sure when I'll be back. I'll keep you posted if I come back. Jennifer will be celebrating her 6 years on 11/5. She is doing fabulous!!

OMG, Peggy.........congrats. The memories I have of my first year out include you and Ken and the whole crew from our Tuesday night group.

You are so right. This is quite a ride........and so worth it.

I celebrated 4 years out last month......and even my dear husband says it's the best thing that's happened to us......other than getting married.

I have the fondest memories of all our great meetings at Renewal. I really miss everyone and the "family" that we had there. Support is SO important in this journey. They don't have the smaller groups here. It's only big meetings with like 100+ people. I really miss the more one-on-one support we got at Renewal and at all the coffee gatherings they have now.

I miss Pepitos  LOL

I really miss the Abbott group too. It was so great to have such a "family" feeling. We have a group out here but it is 100+ people. I feel the support is better when it's a smaller group.

Our weather here has been so wonderful. We're supposed to have almost 80 today!!!

I'm happy to hear you're doing well and have a positive attitude towards the challenges that we face as WLS patients!  You're such a great inspiration to us all!!

If you ever have the desire to come back and visit...consider our door open!!  We have plenty of space and we'll even have one of the pugs snuggle up with you so you won't feel lonely!

Aren't pugs the greatest snugglers?!?!?  We had Jen's pug Otis stay with us the other day and he slept with Ken and me. For a little guy, he sure can take up the whole bed  LOL
