Find a different surgeon after lapband gone bad possible?
Tory,
I had a Vertical band 8 yrs ago and have nothing but problems since. I didnt know they could do conversions/ repairs until my new primary said something. Anyway I went to see a doctor named Michael Swartz and he is with the Healtheast Clinic in st.paul. He was honest and and nice he didnt make me feel like I failed and laid it all out. In the end I have to do a few things but he is willing to convert my Band. So if you find the doctor at the U of M is out o network or just ant more options I highly recomend Dr. Swartz. His office number is 651-326-3600
Best of Luck to you
Dont be afraid to search out more help. You started this process with a goal and the worst thing you can do is Nothing.

Tory, I'm PM'ing you Dr. Buchwald's assistant's email address. Her name is Danette. It may be easier than calling for you since it sounds like you have a busy work week.
You'll want to contact her right away and get a date scheduled. That way, you can hopefully schedule your consult with him for the day that you will be off in a few weeks and use it to your advantage. It will give you something to look forward to!
Keep your chin up, there are definitely some avenues for you to succeed again!!!
