1-year check up
I just came home from my 1 year check up and according to their scale I am:
Down 121.7 pounds, 75% of my excess body weight has been lost and I have lost 14 inches in both my waist and hips. I saw one of the new nurses as our dear Barb is still out and she told me that had she not known I was a bariatric surgery patient she would have never guessed that I was overweight. What a compliment! I feel FABULOUS and only hope that 2009 is as good as 2008 was!

I never realized until today that you had your surgery on my birthday :) Cool! :) Congrats Nicole -- you have done so so so so so so SO well!!!!!
Hey, happy surger-versary! You've done so well! What a feat to have lost over 120 pounds in just a year. Plus, the nurse complimenting you on not even seeming like a bariatric patient. (Must be that YOUNG, elastic skin of yours. I should be so lucky!)From all the recent happiness in your life, it seems 2009 is going to be awesome for you! Congratulations, you've great!
