one week post op today - question

Well, it's one week today.  Yesterday was a rough day emotionally.  I don't know why, but I had my first post op visit and my JP drainage tube was removed...yay!  I started talking with the RN as she asked me if I was getting in everything and I just started bawling.  What was that about?  Admittedly, I've been very overwhelmed by all the rules.  I devised a chart I finished yesterday and it has everthing on one page.  Very helpful to me as I am very detail oriented.  I woke up today feeling much better.  BUT, when I went to the bathroom, I say some fresh blood.  I wondered if I had a bladder infection.  Two hours later, I go again and wipe and it's like I have my period.  (Sorry men....), but I had a hysterectomy 10 yrs ago. and upon double checking realize that it is rectal bleeding.  I put on a pad, but nothing was on my undies yet and called the clinic and they said someone would get back to me.  An hr. later I have to have a BM which we all know is diarrhea at this point.  Still more fresh blood noted.  Clinic called back and we'll keep an eye on it.  Has this happened to anyone else??

Youch! That's not something to mess around with. I hope you got to the Dr and you're all better!
