I buy healthy snacks - full of protein for my kiddo
think string cheese, almonds, hard-boiled eggs etc...
I do not buy cookies 'n such....if we want a cookie - we go buy one cookie and enjoy the dickens out of it - occasionally on weekends I cook up a batch of brownies or something
it's about moderation not deprivation.....hopefully I'm teaching her something with all this too!

We eat more carrots, apples and things like that for snacks. I do keep some less healthy things on hand for the kids but they are things I am not interested in (fruit snacks, chewy granola bars, raisins, etc.) If we have junk food that I like in the house I eat it, too. Right now we are eating pounds of honey crisp apples each week. Thank goodness for Walmart's $1.43/lb honey crisps!

Hey you! I send snacks with Lukas monthly and they store those for me so that is helpful. I tend to buy Lukas a lot of things that I do not like so I'm not tempted. Also Lukas likes things like fruit snacks and since I don't do sugar I have no problems staying away. So my suggestion for you is try more healthier options or fed them things you don't like!! LOL I'm sure the boys will love that!!
Hey there chickiepoo I should see if Cole's school will let me do that. I know Cody's won't. My fault is I try a bite oh it worked so far so lets try another and then that leads to another, and another, and another. I did good yesterday and hope it continues. I think I will be on OH alot so I stay outta the kitchen. LOL
