Today is My Surgery!

I slept well, just sent hubby off to take the kids to daycare/school/speech therapy and to get himself a nice big hot breakfast, since I don't want to smell it or watch him eat it. I am really weak and a little nauseous, but after a shower and a tiny sip of water, I have my eye on the prize for 1pm today when it's happening. We're leaving for the hospital at 10am, so I think time with go faster once we're there.

I did post an update on the liver MRI... it was standard hemangioma lesions, and they appears benign!

I have Kathy B's email and Donna's phone numbers so will make sure someone gets an update this evening when I'm back in my room.

Thank you ALL and I can't wait to actually MEET some of you on the flip side once I can FINALLY get to a Maple Grove coffee!

Wow!  Everything "fell into place" - my mom used to say that all the time.  You are ready and it's a fine day to begin your new, healthier life.  May it go as easy as my first weeks have gone - I just do exactly what they told me and follow the rules.  It works!

I woke up thinking about you today!!  It has been three weeks today since my surgery.  As tough of a start that I had after surgery, I'd still do it all over again!!  You have a beautiful day today and I hope your surgery goes as well as mine.  Relax and be prepared for a healthy life after surgery.
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers today!
