I hear ya on being cold....I am always cold, and have been my whole life....I am thinking that some day I should move somewhere warm....ahhh to dream..he he he

I've always been a freeze-bug, but since the surgery, I am really cold.  All the time.  I have been wearing turtlenecks under everything, and sweaters all the time.

I have also turned into a freeze baby. Before surgery I was always hot, even in the winter. Now I am struggling to keep warm! I find that layering helps me alot.

I am right there with you, Elena.  I am so ready to turn and run right back to the desert where I came from.  If you find the answer to your "how many layers" questions please let us know because I really don't want to walk around looking like the Michelin Man!

 I'm sorry you are freezing but this gives me hope.  I am sitting in my t-shirt and bare feet and miserable from the morning hot flash (full hysto last year) and I just can't remember being cold in so long.  I am in full menopause, medically induced, but I am tired of everyone thinking I'm just a sweaty fat girl since I'm  not old enough for menopause.

Hoping Sugery is going to help that.

Being cold is just a small, if uncomfortable, price to pay for living in better health.  So is discovering that you have a butt nub, a knobby appendage that makes sitting an unpleasant experience.  A warmer climate might be in your future, but it would leave the rest of us with cold, empty hearts in your absence, so keep that in mind.

Cuddle Duds! That's my advice. They are sold at JC Penney's. They are on the expensive side but made of the micro fiber material and they work. I have 2 sets (long johns and tops). I wear them under the layers. I wear gloves most of the time with the fingers cut off and outside gloves part of the time. It is not uncommon to find me sitting in three layers,blanket on lap, gloves on and a small heater in front of me as I type. I look like I am sitting at a bon fire.

I don't fore see this getting any better! Sitting here in ND freezing. Will un-thaw ummm NEVER
