My first WOW!
First I want to thank those who answered on my post about getting fluid and protein in. Today I was able to get 50oz of fluid in, still not quite 64, but inching my way there.
Yesterday I did get in 50g of protein, today I only managed 40, so that continues to be a struggle. Next week I can add things like refried beans, tuna/chicken salad, poached eggs, etc so maybe it will be a bit easier to get in the protein.
Anyway, my first wow. Now surgery was just 10 days ago, but I already have a Wow moment!
At surgery I was in a size 30 pants. Well, today I noticed they were baggy in the thighs and waist. I went in my dresser drawer and found an old pair of 28s I still had but didn't fit anymore....well they FIT!!!!! Woohoo! Who know I would be so happy to put on a pair of 28s! lol
for the past 3 days I have been faithfully walking on the treadmill. In the past when I was at my highest weight I could barely walk 10 minutes. I would be in such pain (knees)
Well now I am going 1/2 a mile, doesn't seem like a lot but for someone that could barely walk across the house, it is a major accomplishment , my goal is by 6 weeks out of surgery to be able to walk a mile.
Just wanted to share my excitement with those that would "get it" :)
I am 44 pounds lighter, 31 pre-surgery and 13 since surgery and I feel "GOOD" lol

It's so fun when the pant sizes start to drop! You'll be flying through the sizes lots more in the months to come!! Keep doing what you're doing & congrats on walking & getting in the protein that you can (it can be so tough at this stage)!!
