WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

Well another Friday. Don't know where the weeks go to . Seems it is Sunday then it is over. I guess that happens when you get old and since I have had the surgery I am staying so much busier than before that the days never seem long enough to get everything done. We were gone most of the day yesterday. First we went to one of my very favorite stores in the world. Lowes lol If someone would give me a lot of money and tell me that I had to spend it all and in only one store it would be here that I go. I love all the new gadgets and tools and stuff . There are so many things to look at. And I love decorating things too, as you all know. We spent about 2 hours in there walking all over and I never got tired once. I had the cart with me but wasn't leaning on it like I use to do. Amazing. Use to be I almost was laying in the cart and by the time we were there for thirty minutes or so I would be ready to go. After there we rode on over to visit with my youngest daughter and we took them out to supper. Went to a buffet. I showed them my gastro card and they were more than happy to give me the child's price. Lol that was nice. I had a chicken leg that I took all the crust off of and a spoonful of green beans, and a spoonful of pea salad. Also had a tiny piece of sugar free coconut pie , ate about 1/3 of it. I was really pleased with myself and the amount I was able to eat since I havent been able to eat that much at one meal . Before we left this morning we put the tarp over my plants that I have potted up . It is at this moment already down to 45 so don't know what it will get by morning. It is suppose to get in to the 30s but we will see. It probably wont. Sherr: Wanted to let you know that we will all be praying for you and your surgery will be done before you know it . I wish someone was there with you tho. I don't really understand that but just know that all of us are there with you in spirit . And the getting your life back will start happening so quickly that you will be having some WOW moments soon. The bench is cleaned off and waiting for you . I think I saw Melissa bring in some pillows already too. Melissa. Every time I see your new picture I have to smile. You look so cute. There is such a difference. You really cant see it? Well you tell that fat girl in your head to take a hike. You are beautiful . Why is the fat girl in your head have 7 months to move out? Is that a special date? Is that your one year anniversary? Shoot by then you will need an even better picture. This one probably wont look like you then at all. How big is this lighthouse that you are painting? I bet it is going to be beautiful . Rachael: hmmmm wonder why your protein levels are dropping . Is there anything at all that would cause that , medically I mean? That doesn't really make sense at all does it? Yes continuing to pray that your mom hears from the insurance company soon. Brenda: Well how did your Mattie survive the bath and the vet? Yeah probably am overdoing it some but I figure that since I am using some of my yard work for the replacement of a gym. Then I need to pu**** a little. Hears hoping that soon you will come to Springfield to one of our monthly meetings and like I told you the guest house will be open to you to stay all night if you want to. We keep getting more and more of it done all the time. Barbara T: Yes I figure that we are all in this ride together so we need to all support each other. Some of us have more support than others do and I know that some don't connect with everyone but I can honestly say I don't know of a single sole on here that I don't love and care for. You all are my extended family . Was wondering if you have found a safe place to walk yet? You know you could just go to wal mart and walk around the store on the outer walls . That would be safe or go to one of the malls there in KC and walk. It is such a good feeling that we can now walk isn't it? Sugar: glad your supper went well. I know you all did a great job of it, and everyone had to enjoy it if you didn't have anymore than that left over. I guess you are getting anxious for your trip to NC on Monday. That should be lots of fun Well I will get off here and try to go back to bed and get a little more rest. My right shoulder is really hurting again. I have a problem with the rotator cuff and my right arm feels sometimes like it gets completely out of socket. Hurts believe me. Seems it has been doing it a lot since surgery. don't know if it is being used more and that is what is causing it or whether I am losing the fat and some muscle tissue there that has been helping to hold it in place. What ever it hurts. Will rub some more bio freeze on it and go back to bed for a while love you all LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Well Good Morning to you all Sorry I have been MIA for a while now. Things have been pretty busy around here. I have been trying to keep up with reading all of the post. Seems like there has been quit a few wow moments and I would like to say congratulations to all of you and your wow moments. And Melissa you have a big Wow from me with that new pic you posted. You look great. Keep up the great work. I have Sherr in my prayers as well as the rest of you on this site. I'm no where as good as Jan at posting everyone's names and stuff like that, but each and every one of you are in my prayers. Well I gotta get to my morning walk then take my truck to the shop and get if fixed then try and take care of some legal stuff from where my father passed away back in March. Like I said things have been kind of busy around here. I hope and pray you all have a good day and a wonderful weekend. Good Morning Everyone I just got off the phone with Sherr. She is at the hospital checked in and waiting for them to call her back into Pre-op to prep her for surgery. There is 1 person ahead of her for surgery. Sherr is scheduled for surgery around 9 to 10am. Just as soon as I hear ANYTHING I will post and let everyone know. Sherr stated that she was feeling better and to thank everyone for their prayers!!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day. Love ya Melissa

Mornin ya'll, Just a quick post, we're here packing away for our move and praying for Sherr, she should be in surgery about now. I know the Lord is guiding the Doc's hands and blessing Sherr abuntantly. I sure can't wait to hear the good report when she's out. Good Morning Jan and MO Board You know I'm an open and honest person and usually state how I feel so thank you for your response you are a sweetheart . I'm not yet into full scale walking especially on my block (ugh!), like I said it's a nice neighborhood but I wi**** was in a different place, we've had some problems in the neighborhood when differnt houses go up for rentals, etc. So I'm still looking for a place to move. I'm not really one who likes the malls maybe it's a mind thing, plus now I walk faster than my husband and I believe it has a lot to do with his hernia, but I mostly shop from catalogs. What I really want to do is join a community center in the Grandview area which is like down the street from me so I'm still mentally juggling money to see if I will be able to join it. What do you think about Jazzercise? I thought of doing that just to get and keep the body moving plus it sounds like fun and I love to Even though I'm not walking thirty minutes a day I usually get in some type of exercise Well everyone have a great day, keeping Sherr in my prayers today and also everyone. Good afternoon to all my dear MO OH friends, Friday again, weeks just fly past. We don't have major plans for the weekend. I've got a couple of places to go in Springfield tomorrow, but we are only four miles from S-field so that's no biggie. Since the gas prices have come down some we might go for a little ride Sunday afternoon. I love riding in the car and seeing new places. We have had quite a lot of company and I like that but it's also great to just have the two of us sometimes. My older stepson got his ticket to come for Christmas and my DD and grandson will be here so that will be fun and I think the other stepson will get to be here for a few days then too. I didn't decorate last year for Christmas because John and I just took off and went to Charleston, SC on a vacation since none of the kids could get here. I am sort of looking forward to getting the tree up. Want to do it Thanksgiving weekend if possible. Thank you so much for calling, Melissa. I did remember that Sherr was due for surgery this AM but that fever was worrysome. Glad all went as planned and Lucky is a doll to go be with her. We have the nicest, most caring people in the world here on this board. Hey Lana, Where you going driving to this weekend? I love to do that too! I live in Clever, do you know where that is? My hubby works in Nixa for Ozark Electric. He is a lineman. We are looking at Columbia SC as a possible retirement option in about 8 years. What did you think of SC? I agree that the people on here seem to be the best in the world! Sugar

well here it is 8:30p.m. and I am only posting. Worked today and got home and spent some time with DH and made supper and we just sat and enjoyed talking about each of our days events. No earth shattering news just the great time of being together. So very happy that Sherr had a safe surgery and thank you also to Melissa and Lucky. What a great bunch of people. Andrew, my doctor appt is Nov. 14th in the afternoon, so dont snooze too long in surgery so you and I can visit. LOL That time will be here before you know it. My daughter is doing well, Down 30 pounds the first month. Isn't that incredible!!! Well I hope to post some over the weekend. My days are not long enough. LOL. May God Bless you all!!! Colette
