To New Beginnings Support Group Members, I wanted to remind everyone that the next meeting of the New Beginnings Support Group is scheduled to meet Monday, October 9, 2006, at the St. John's Surgery Center, Classroom 4B, 1229 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri. We meet from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Our regular meetings are the second Monday of every month. The New Beginnings Support Group is for weight loss surgery pre and post-op patients, their support members or anyone wanting to obtain information on weight loss surgery. We welcome pre-op patients, post-op patients (with any weight loss surgery procedure), family members, and the general public. You may be a part of our group regardless of where you have had your surgery, and you don't have to be a patient to attend. Our speaker for the October meeting will be Amy Blansit-Broadbent, New Images Coordinator. Amy's presentation is entitled "Aerobic Exercise...Not The Only Way To Weight Loss Surgery Success". Amy is one of the many speakers that will be presenting at our First Annual Weight Loss Surgery Symposium on Saturday, October 14th. I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, the 9th! Come one come all! I encourage everyone, who has had, will have, thinking to have, or who supports a loved one with gastric surgery to come. I will be there!!!!! I wouldn't miss it for anything! I so look forward to the 2nd and 4th Monday's for my support group meetings! There isn't enough words to express my belief in this support group. Thanks to St. John's and to you Cathy for being a wonderful support group leader! See you tonight.
