Well the weekend is here again. I think someone turned the clock up or something. Maybe they took some of the hours out of the day. Somehow the days are shorter and shorter. Lol I didn't do a lot yesterday. I am so sore I feel like I have been beaten. I guess from the exercise tape I did Thursday. I wasn't even able to do it will hope today I can do at least part of it . I don't want to get this sore all over again. Will just do shorter versions of each exercise. I cleaned on the house yesterday or tried to mainly I just rested and drank lots of water and took some Tylenol. Shame to get old. Lol Was a pretty day yesterday and suppose to be more of the same today I think. Monday is the Springfield support meeting at St. Johns. If anyone wants to go have coffee afterwards we can go someplace close there. How about it ? Monday is also the day I get my second shot in both knees. Barbara: I know what it says about can eat up to six times a day but I don't think I could eat that much if someone held a gun to my head. To me that feels like grazing. But a ¼ cup 6 times a day? Wow that is a lot. But after you said that I went and looked and you are right. I had never read that before. I will try and increase my amount of food but that is a lot of eating. And tomorrow when I go to the store I will get some juice. I just am not hungry most of the time. And when I do have hungry pains I eat and after about 3 bites I feel like I ate a full meal. Andrew: we will all be praying that you have nice weather and everything goes great for your move this week end. Don't hurt yourself. That is a lot of work, moving. And I don't envy you in the least. Will talk to you again on Monday or Tuesday. Tressia: wow wont be long now will it. I know how your feeling. I wasn't scared at all before surgery , and the time went by so fast after awhile. Enjoy those grandsons and your daughter. I don't know anything at all about the optifast products. Is that what your doctor wants you to use? Is it liquid protein or what? Is it sort of like slim fast? Maybe someone else out there can help you find that . Is your family all for the surgery and backing you up? That is very important. My husband calls me his incredible shrinking wife. Lol. I just get impatient and want it faster than it seems to be happening. But in 8 weeks I have lost 37 pounds and that aint bad is it? Never have lost that sort of weight in that amount of time before and feel this good. You will be feeling really good in no time. And next summer you will have that yard landscaped and pretty . Lana: the musical sounds great. Is that as the Juanita K. Hammons place. I go there about once a year for something. I know what you mean about the meetings. That is what I am going to do too . I like getting to know the people in the room a little better and there isn't much chance of that at the St. Johns meetings but will see how things work out. You want to try going for coffee or something after the st.johns meeting this time. We can go over to just about anywhere . Probably wont be that many of us. Village Inn should be able to accommodate all of us even if there is a dozen and I doubt that. I know your exercise program is going by pretty fast isn't it? That is what Sugar said . And I remember how much you said you were going to hate it. It does get addictive doesn't it? And you get to feeling so much better. You and my sister Sugar are going to finish your 6 months up about the same time. She has all of her paper work all done and all of her things all done except the psyche eval done so it will be ready for approval. Maybe you all will have surgery close to the same day. Melissa. Sorry your trip to see your parents got postpone but next week end will be here before you know it , as fast as time seems to be flying. Your father in law doesn't live in Joplin? That makes it a little harder to watch after him doesn't it. We will go for coffee after the meeting if anyone shows up lol. Sherr: Did you try driving home yesterday or are you leaving this morning? Be careful and remember to stop and get out and walk about every hour at least. Doesn't have to be far . Dr. H . told me just around your car a couple of times is enough. Your weight that you went into surgery at is what I weighed the day I went into surgery. You don't say what your height is but I am 5foot 3 inches. And being happy if you lose 50 pounds? Honey hold on your in for a great ride. You will lose that and more. How tall are you ? Hope you make it home ok that is a long drive to make by yourself. At least you have had a week to sort of get back on your feet. Let us know how you make it. Good morning Colette: Glad the pig roast went well. Sounds like a lot of people were there. And lots of food. We went out to eat the other day to a buffet and I noticed how much less I even wanted any of the food there. It almost seemed a waste to me. I think from now on I will just order off the menu and at least then I can take the rest of my food home. Go get that test done woman. You know they really aren't that bad and since your mother died of colon cancer you need to keep an eye on that. How is your hubby doing? I hope better. Don't work too hard today. Miss all of you that havent been posting. Love to see lots of you on here. Craig you and Leta have been losing lots of weight . Wont be long before the dynamic duo brother and sister act will be running loose in the neighborhood. Watch those falling pants. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good Morning, Jan & Mo Peeps... What a week! David is doing fine, he is back on all his meds and feeling better! Thank you God and everyone for praying. God IS so awesome! I haven't been sleeping much. I don't know why but every morning I'm up between 2 and 4am...exausting! No Jan, haven't been in touch with anyone about a shrink yet. Taking care of hubby and spending time with him since he's taken a week's vacation for recovery from surgery and fun time....he sooo deserves it! Also, I got a little flustered over it too so I put it on the back burner and let it soak in a little. I will probably be tending to it today though. If I get overloaded with stuff, the depression gets the best of me....so like you tell yourself and the others (post-op) sip, sip, sip...that kinda what I do with life's issues...lol I think I'm going to get ahold of my pcp's nurse and ask her which way to go with this. We have became pretty good friends over the years...she will know what would be the best way to get through this with the insurances and stuff. She will get Katherine (ins.) on it too. They have helped me many times before with this kinda stuff. I'm so happy to be reading posts and hearing that everyone is doing great! Craig and LETA...Good Job!! Keep up the good work! I am soo proud of all of us, pre and post! All the hoop jumping and be able to put up with all of it for the pre-ops and the weight loss and sticking to your regiments for the post-ops!! Congrats to us ALL!! We sure know how to fight for what we want!! lol Andrew & Susan....God be with you two during your move. I pray the move goes smoothly! No hurt backs, sore toes, smashed fingers, no headaches, stress, or anxiety....hmmm, no hurt feelings either! I know how it can get during a move! Like Jan said, I don't envy you guys, at all! I do hope that you get settled in quickly and post to let us know how everything went! Btw, thanks for the prayers...they DO work! Melissa, chick you are so crazy...lol I'm so glad that God has brought you into my life, you brighten my days! Sorry, your parents couldn't make it up, there will be another day, soon I hope! Thank you for your prayers as well! Sherr...I'm sorry I wasn't able to post during your surgery, had my own hands a little full at the time but know that you have been in my prayers and I'm so glad everything went smoothly! I will be soo happy when I finally get on the side of the losers....lol Well, everyone else!! Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the weather, winter is just around the corner! Brrr....my California side comes out in the winter....I don't like it, it's beautiful but I can't handle the cold or the ice! Lord know I can't walk in it, I can't drive in it...after Christmas, I pray for spring and I hibernate until it gets here! God, be with you all this weekend! May you all be Blessed!! Deb M.

Good Morning Everyone: It looks like our Fall weather has come back for a visit. I am up and getting ready to get dressed and go rummage saleing this morning. Yesterday I ran errands for my F-I-L then came home. DH was up at neighbors helping them so I went up and helped load rock from the house onto a trailor. Then DH & I went to dump it at the landfield. I am so blooming sore this morning. Expecially across my shoulder blades. But that good for me to work out like that. Yea right. lol Dont really have no big plans this weekend since we didnt get to make it down my parents house. Sounds like a good time to replant some of my house plants and get the house ready for them to come in for the Winter. I hope you all have a wonderful day!! Jan: I hope you feeling better. Sherr: Please call me when you get home!!! Debbie: So glad to hear that your DH is doing so well!!! Benny: OMG stranger alert stranger alert!!! lol Long time no see. Andrew: We are all thinking of you this weekend. Craig: Sounds like your really burning up those pounds!!! Lana: Dont work too hard today!!! Okay time for protein and shot. Have a great day!!! Love ya'll Melissa

Momma Jan & Gang: You guys always say the SWEETEST things to me. I tell ya it gets me thru... My dad was always the "grumpy old man"....and then my mom has become very short tempered and kinda grumpy to me since I became disabled last year, so I don't have anyone that "pets" me BUT YOU GUYS Daddy says it's because mom is so scared for me, but that just doesn't make any logical sense.... Be mean to a person because you are worried??? WHAT??? I am heading out soon, and hope to do okay on the trip home today.... I am 5'7"...I used to be taller, but I shrank LOL Who DOES that in their 30s? but I did...thanks to bone degeneration..... NOT LOL 45 degrees now, what a good morning to get on the road..... Love you guys!!! Sherr

Gooooood Morning Jan and MO Board Hello everyone what a great morning and so great to be alive woooohooooo, I'm am ready to go this morning and see what God has in store for me today. Hope everyone has a good Saturday, yes it does seem like time has picked up speed and where is it going too. Jan yes it does seem like a lot of food for such a small pouch, but you don't have to necessarily eat the entire 1/4 cup during the one setting and I know what you mean about feeling too full when you do. I'm not hungry and I eat because I know I have too, but I've learned that if I eat just a little more that I am able to produce and not feel so much like exploding One of the things that amazes me is not being hungry but knowing that when it is time to put something in the pouch it let's you know you need to eat (an intelligent pouch no less ) I only eat what I can and no more but I do it six times a day, unless I get busy and forget to eat. Everyone says the weight is dropping off of me but I still don't see what they see, but I feel GREAT!!! Before WLS I couldn't find things to wear because I was big and didn't want to buy anything bigger, and now I can't find anything to wear because now what I have is bigger (who would have thunk it) what a DILEMMA great isn't it Well dear heart I guess I had better find something to do with this great morning and I pray that everyone WILL have a blessed and wonderful day. Jan, I know, I'm a day behind. Seems like that happens a lot. I don't know what I do that takes so much of my time but there just aren't enough hours in the day since I retired. For one thing I go to Mtn. Home 3 times a week for cardio-pulmonary rehab and then we end up eating lunch while we are there. We also run errands and do doctor & dentist appointments on those days. Before you know it the whole day is shot in the ass! In answer to your question...................Yes, I got a dress! Melissa sent me one, it is so cute!!! It is two piece the way I like, and has an embroidered cut-out design around the bottom of the skirt and the top. It will be perfect! So, about your water problem, it sounds like it's a little bit of all the problems. The taste, swallowing, and the amount, so I can see where the problems lie. I drink a lot of Crystal Light which I stock up on when it's on sale. I hope I can still drink it later. Hugz Huera
