Shooting at my kids school today

There was a shooting at the middle school that my son,daughter and 3 nephews and niece attend. Luckily noone was hurt , by the 13 yr. old boy who had a high powered assault rifle.He did however put the gun to a couple of students heads and pointed it at some of the staff. He shot in the air one time. How does a 13 yr. old get their hands on an assault rifle??? Of course, I am shocked and scared that this happened in my childrens school. I also am sad for this boys parents and for him . He must be very disturbed to do this and I am sure his parents are suffering greatly right now. Please pray for all of our childrens safety ,for the parents of this boy and all of the parents effected today and please pray for this boy who took such a drastic measure to get someone's attention and help. Just DEVASTATING to hear this. Thank the Lord no one was hurt. I just wish the media would stop reporting these things. I think the kids get the idea to do it from all of the publicity.

Hi there, Gosh, how scary! I heard this on the news today and thought, wow, what's this world coming to? When is it all going to end? So many angry, misguided kids. I found out when my kids got home that a boy at their school in 9th grade told several people that Saturday night at the homecoming dance, he wanted to bring a gun and shoot "a bunch" of people. They let the boy back in school today...wow! This freaks me out. Makes it scary to send your kids to school. I'll pray for the situation and all of our children. Bless ya, Kelly

Dannielle I know that has to be about the scarest you could possible feel. To have your children threatened like that. Horrible. Thank God tht the boy was apprehendend before anything bad happened. I dont understand . I told Joe here that boy is 14 and his life is now not worth anything at all. Nothing he ever does will make up for that . Shame. Jan
