What this type of weather change I can really do without. Can you believe that just 2 days ago. Here in the 4 state area we set a record high in temp. The next day we were almost 20 degrees colder. Crazey crazey weather. I think I was on the run the minute my feet hit the floor yesterday. My day finally ended after 9:15pm when I got home from graduations. I ate, took my shot & totally crashed. I was whiped out completely!!! Today is more relaxed thank goodness I dont my body could take another day like the last 2. My brother-in-law came into town yesterday. He drives a truck and doesnt pick up his load until today at 3pm. So he is hanging out with me his favorite s-i-l (actually his only one) lol Were going to head to the flea market after awhile. Then to see if he needs anything from the store or where ever before I take him back to his truck. Dannielle: Have a safe trip to Tulsa this weekend!!! It may seem like a long wait. But remember it is in his time not ours. And before you know it your day will be here!!!! Congrats. Barbara T: Thank you so much for the prayers. I will take everyone that is sent my way!! You know when I first seen Dr. A I couldnt quite figure him out. He wanted me to loss xx amount of weight. Well I lost the weight he wanted me to loos but he still kept putting me off. And the more he put me off the madder I got. Then it was like alight bulb turned on that Dr. A wasnt who I was suppose to be going to, to begin with and then my 2nd appointment with Dr. Scott came around and he was so happy that I had lost the weight he wanted me to lose. And I just knew in my heart of hearts that this is where I am suppose to be. I am just so thankful that God didnt give up sending me that message and it finally hit home!!!! Andrew: WOW the closer it gets them more excited I am for ya!!! I will be leaving Sunday morning to head to Columbia. I am hoping I can reach out and talk to you for a few minutes today!! Tony: You will be in my thoughts and prayers on having the strength to quite smoking!!! That is how I quite over a year ago. I gave it to God and he took it COMPLETELY from me!!! Colette: I am so glad to see that your back safe and sound. You have been on everyone minds and in their prayers!!! Sherr: That C. A. salad sounds wonderful. Can you omit the nuts??? I know they are good for you but they have so much fat that I stay away from those little buggers. Glenna: You will have to let us know that you thought of the recepie. Tami: I hope you and your family have a great weekend. Anita: Where are you hiding yourself sweetie??? Craig: I pray you are having the time of your life on vacation!!! I am so excited for you on going back to school. That is where I wanna head to around the first of the year. Alan: So are you getting excited about Tuesday?? David: Where and how are you doing?? I havent seen you post in a long time. I hope everything is okay with you and your family. Debbie M: Come out come out where every you are??? Rachael: Work must really be keeping you busy. Has your mother heard any news at all?? How is your sister doing? Well I am going to sign off and get my day rolling. I hope and pray you all have a great weekend!!! Take care and please remember those with surgery this coming week. Alan: Springfield Andrew: Sedilia Melissa: Columbia God Bless Melissa ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PMS warning!!!! Dear Kotex, I recently noticed that the peel-off strip of my pantiliner had a bunch of "Kotex Tips for Life" on it. Annoying advice such as: Staying active during your period can relieve cramps. Avoiding caffeine may help reduce cramps and headaches. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day to keep you hydrated and feeling fresh. Try Kotex blah blah blah other products. Obviously the individual behind this was someone who has never possessed a functioning set of ovaries. Go ahead and tell a menstruating woman that drinking 6-8 glasses of water will help keep her feeling fresh. See what happens and report back. I'll wait. While you're at it, dump out the coffee at work and remove the chocolate from the vending machine. I guaran-friggin-tee that the first responders will be females who just ovulated. Look, females don't need or want tips for living on feminine hygiene products. Younger girls are already hearing "helpful" crap like that from their elderly relatives. Veteran females have already concocted their own recipes for survival, many containing alcohol. Printing out **** advice while sneaking in ads for the brand that was already purchased is just plain annoying, not to mention rude, and enough to send a girl running to the "Always" brand. Mostly we'd like to forget that we even need these products. It's not a fun time, but DO NOT try to cheer us up by adding smiley faces or bunnies or flowery cutesy crap to your products or the packaging. Put the **** in a plain brown wrapper so we can throw it in our carts discreetly and have it blend in among the wine and beer. There is nothing more annoying than having a blinding pink package announcing your uterine state to everyone in the store. So take your tips for living and shove them right up your butt. Ovarily Yours, Miss PMS

Good morning........ Hope everyone has a blessed day.....I have been extremely busy with work..I had to take my sister to the ER on Wednesday night and they wound up shipping her to Columbia so by time I got home it was 3am and then I just turned around and got everyones stuff ready for the day and headed back to work....Then I came home that afternoon for about 30 minutes and then back off to work again for another 2 and a half hours....by time I got home that night I was totally whipped...I was so glad that I was off yesterday....I ran an errand or two and then came home took a nap with my daughter and then got up and started cleaning my house.....Today I am going to do the back of the house and work on some laundry...I am suppose to go to a Welcome Home party for my friends husband and it is a black and white affair....I had my mother in law send me the dress I borrowed from my S-I-L in August and that is what I am wearing tonight....My hubby and I never get to go do stuff like this with all his jobs and the kids...So my sister is going to keep my kids and we are going to go and have a fun time.... The reason my sister was having so much pain was because when they were stitching her they stitched a piece of her abdominal wall and caused a fold so until the stitch dissolves or loosens she will have the pain.... My mother has not heard anything or at least if she has she has not mentioned anything to me..... Well I better get off here so I can get my stuff done... Melissa what day is your surgery? Hernia repair right? I will keep you in my prayers..... Take care everyone.... God bless Rachael

Good Morning, Melissa & Missouri Board! Melissa, Thanks for the laugh first thing this morning. I really enjoyed your "story"! I've been having horrible problems, on and off, with my hormones running rapid. I finally went to see a WOMAN Endricologist yesterday. I will post more on this on the main board because I'm hoping some of these wonderful women on the Missouri board can be of encouragement to me. I live in Kansas and the cold weather hit hard here yesterday!! Brrrr. My 11 year old, Jake, woke up vomiting yesterday. Wasn't able to go to school and is missing his Troop Shotgun camp out. He told me it was okay because he wouldn't be able to enjoy himself. It's especially hard because his Dad is the Scout Master and had to go without him. ;( He woke up this morning and the first thing he wanted was a breakfast burrito from McDonald's. I guess he is feeling better! I will remember all the upcoming people with their surgeries this week in my prayers. I know the Lord will take care of all of you! Please have someone post on the board to give us your update!! My oldest, Luke who is 16, is mentoring a 11 year old boy with downs syndrome. This boy is being raised by a single mother. I think the dad left when the child was a toddler. The Mother is wanting a manly influenced in her child's life. She realizes how important it is for a boy to have a man's influence in his life. What a blessing for both of them. It's good for the boy and it's great for my son as well. It's good for Luke to step outside his "normal" 16 year old world and to experience the needs of others. It is a job that pays quite well. But as his Dad and I discussed with him this is much, much more than just a job. It's a huge reasonability and not one to be taken lightly. We told Luke that if he took this "job" he would have to be up to the task and be there for the long haul. So far Luke is doing great! He spends between 10 to 15 hours a week with the child. Tonight they are going to the high school play "Beauty and the Beast". Can you tell I'm a very PROUD parent!? lol! Well, I've gotta take my little toy poodle Precious to the Groomer's here in about 5 minutes. Will post about my appointment with the specialist later. Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend! Debbie D.

Hi all...I'm here, just lurking! Haven't had much time or felt like posting, have had my hands full with other stuff and I haven't been feeling the greatest. My son, whom we just sent off to Bible College called the other day to let us know "he's engaged" to a girl he met 3 months ago and bought her a $3000.00 ring! This was just two weeks after he rented a hotel room for the first time, if you get my point. I saw all this when his bank statement came in, it's in my name for those that just think I'm being nosy. He's almost 22 years old, so he's a grown man! The problem I have it with is....he used all his college loan money for this and he doesn't have a job and now he's overdrawn at the bank and bouncing checks! Also, I have been busy with my little brother who is dealing with issues concerning decisions he had to make on our Mother's death in 2000 and our Brother's death back in 1997. I think he will be okay! I really think a lot of it has to deal with the fact that he turned 45 yesterday, male menopause! I have an appt. with a shrink in Sedalia that knows Dr. H! I see them on the 20th, I believe. Hopefully they know exactly what I need so we can get this over with and I can get on the damn bench too!! Sorry, just tired, frustrated and sick of the hoops!!
