Great Sadness to report about Marilyn A

I just spoke to Tom and about 20 minutes after they left Sedalia today Marilyn suffered a heart attack in the car and died. The paramedics worked on her for quite awhile but could not bring her back. He was in Tipton at the funeral home and his son was driving up to be with him. I have his home address and if anyone wants to send him a note email me and I'll send it to you. This is just such a blow. We've had such wonderful success on this board and she was such a sweetie and Tom was so devoted to her. I don't know anymore details, they did have oxygen in the car so I believe she might have had some history but I'm not sure. Her happy face will be so missed by all of us. She was to be my angel!!! I'm just devastated. Hugs and love to all of you. Lana

oh how sad and horrible. I know her sweet spirit will be totally missed on the board. She was just so happy about finally getting some of this weight off and being able to live a normal life. I do think she had a history but still it is a very very sad thing to have happened to one of our own. Tom will be lost im sure. I am devastated also as i know everyone else will be. Jan

What can we say? It's just awful! She was the first people I got to know on here...now she is a True Angel! Let Tom know how sorry I am and that we will pray for him. Deb

Omg :O Thats just awful. I know she's happy up there with Jesus but like everyone else it's such a blow. I was just up there yesturday to visit her, she looked so peaceful sleeping so we didnt wake her but left her a lil note and baloon. God Bless her!! Like Deb said, she's a true Angel now. She was so excited the night she came to visit me in the hospital, wow! Please let Tom and the family know they are all in our prayers. I would love their addy or email so to write sometime. Andrew

Oh bless her heart. I am in tears. This is so sad. I am so sorry for her family.I have to keep telling myself she is with God now and not begrudge her that glory but I am so so sad. Dannielle

As a pre-op patient, You really only want to hear the success stories, as a newly post-op patient this is incredibly hard to hear. It really hits home when it happens to someone you know (even only casually). My prayers are with her family now, and with the many friends she had on this board and in her life. She was a great person who will be missed by all.

I am so saddened by this terrible news. I am still stunned, I know things like this can happen, but when it happens to a member of a circle of friends it really hurts. My deepest sympathy to her family, she will be truly missed. Alan
