Hi Kelli so good to see you back on the board. How are you doing with your water and protein and walking? all three of these things are important to your weight loss. at 3 weeks i had only lost 23 pounds so i dont know if it is normal or not but i think you were a lightweight when you started werent you? take inventory of what you are eating and drinking and your protein intake it is very very important. and you exercise too. Love and hugs and keep on keeping on you are altered to win not lose. so hang on you are new to this and as you get a better hold on it you will do better. Jan

I think 25 pounds in 3 weeks is great! When in your life have you done that before! I am 3 months out and have lost 65 pounds so I would say you are on the right track! Good luck and keep up the good job! Brenda

I agree with Jan and Brenda - 20 pounds the first week was awesome. Everyone loses differently. You may be one who looses in big sputs then slowly and the cycle will repeat. Drinking and exercise are big keys!! Keep your chin up - the weight will come off.

Hi Kelli. I tend to run in cycles like this too. I find that I stall for several weeks, and then after my monthly cycle, I loose a month's worth of weight for some reason. When I get discouraged, I try to stay off of the scale and use a tape measure to gauge the progress. It works for motivation also. Don't give up. Maybe our bodies just need time to catch up. ~Diana~
