WHATS HAPPENING!!!!!!!!

Well I am going out shopping, yes I really am. I know, I know it is sort of last minute but what can I say. I dot really like shopping. I am hopping that after I lose all of this weight that I will become more girly and like shopping but I would much rather be digging in the dirt planting than shopping. Lol. If all the people that I buy for loved flowers like I do I would have them huge beautiful pots of flowers that I grew but they don't so that does away with most of what I know how to do. I should have taken up a hobby that would produce things that made a good gift lol First this morning I am stopping by my pcps office and having lab work drawn so I can have the results with me when I go to see Dr. Hornbostel on Tuesday. That way if he needs to give me something else he can. I will ask him about the B-Complex also. I hope I can get everything done today that I need to and be back in Forsyth by 2 to meet up with my Avon lady. I think I can since my labs are at 7:30 then it will take another 30 minutes to get to either Branson or Springfield. Probably go to Springfield and maybe meet up with my sister for lunch too. I may have to call the Avon lady and meet her Friday. I wanted to thank all of you for telling me how proud of me you were for my getting into onderland. Lol It is amazing. I really didn't expect to hear that total when I got on the scale yesterday morning. Joe was still in bed and I scared him when I let out a yell. He thought I had fell or something. Lol Claudette: So how is Alan doing? I hope he is better. Cards fan gave a really good uplifting report on him. Hope your report you get from Dr. Edwards goes well and is to your liking. I think most that have attended a support meeting for the Circle of Friends is excited about the one on Monday night. Rachael: was your day yesterday busy or was it a slow day. How is your pain you were having before? Has it gotten better with some of the meds you take? You haven't said much about it lately so I was wondering. Andrew: I got an email from Sharon today. I will try to get the flowers out to her as soon as I find a break. Lol You all can get the ground ready if you want to where you want to plant them. By digging just about 3 inches. Get the grass off and when they come just put the roots down on the dug up ground put a little soil over them and then cover them with mulch or straw or anything. They will take off in the spring. Hey good idea about checking into schooling now. The disability will be anxious to help you get it paid for to get you off disability. Did you weight in at the nursing home? If so how much? Only one week till the 19th and so far looks like good weather for us. Vesta: lol that is the only benefit you can think of for having that many kids? Lol my three were enough thank you. All I can do is admire you for all you went thru. There is no way I could have survived 6 kids. I'm glad they all live close to you and you get to see them often. Tressia: Well we will all pray that the daughter moves out into her own place. Not good for 2 women to be together. That is why I never could figure out the people in Utah that marry more than one woman. Lol can you imagine 2 or 3 women living in the same house and each thinking it is theirs? Colette: You are one busy lady aren't you? I still haven't gotten that kind of energy. I am so proud of you; you are like my example and hero of what we older ladies can do. That is wonderful that your friend is doing better, the power of prayer huh? Can't wait to see you again. Let's keep Alan and Tony in our prayers. Also let's remember all the new pre ops and the recent post ops. And as I always say after naming as many as I have written down and Lord you know the needs of all the ones that are touched by the Mo. Board in some way or the other. We really had a lot of people on the board yesterday didn't we? Wow. Good to see everyone talking and enjoying themselves. That is the way it should be. Good morning Missouri..... No Jan, I was not busy at all yesterday.....In fact, I got to leave half day....It was nice but then a stupid migrane hit me....but I took my Imitrex and started feeling better....As for the pain, I still have it and hopefully it will get better because with my sleep study they discovered that I have restless leg syndrome severely....and that could be the reason for my extreme pain problem....they started me on Requip for the RLS and I started it last night and this morning I woke up like I had a hang over.....It took me a good 45 minutes to get movin around properly....I hadn't been hungover in a long long long time......and now I know why I haven't..... Today doesn't seem like it is going to be a busy day either but I think I am going to get a deck of cards or some dominoes and we can do that after lunch to help us pass the time away....my boss is letting each of us three nurses take half days this week and it was nice.... I hope everyone has a wonderfully blessed day and remember "He is the reason for the season." God bless Rachael

Jan Good Morning. Just a reminder to anyone that what to join in on the Christmas Card Exchange. To get me their names and address today. I went and seen my PCP yesterday for a follow up. Found out why my kidneys and lower back have been killing me. He said I have a UTI from being in the hospital and when they follied (sp) me. I thought it was because I was going so much. So he put me on a strong antibotic that I started last night. And I am set to eat 1 yougart each day while on the antobotics. Today I am going to pittle thro my house DH is gone so I dont have the ol eagle eye looking over my shoulder every time I get up to do something. lol I have dishes, cookies(??), and watering my plants on my list. We will see how far I get today. For some reason I just dont have the energy like I use too. I can get up and take a shower and by the time I get out I am ready for a nap all over again. Good Morning Missouri!! Is it really winter or have I missed something?? LoL What a beautiful day it was yesturday and today is starting out the same way, hard to believe just a couple weeks ago we had an ice storm and now its in the 60's. Not doing a whole lot here today. While the ground is thawed and still kind of muddy Im gonna get a flower bed ready to plant some of the mums that Jan has, Susan is totally excited about starting our flower beds already, I'm gonna kind of mark out where else we want to plant things this spring. Lowes had some tree's on sale awhile back, I might check into those and see what they have. I need to rearrange our shedd also, its a mess lol. Brenda Im real excited you wanna start a support group, if ya need anything or any help dont hesitate to get ahold of me, I'll email ya my phone number if ya need it. Craig!!!!! Hey Jan, So did you get all your shopping done? I still have some to do too. I have to go to town tomorrow and will pick up some things then. When I had mentioned the Dreamfields pasta the other day, you said you use spaghetti squash. I use that too. I had it for lunch today and that reminded me of you talking about it. Last night I put some chicken breast in the crockpot. Then this morning, I took them all off the bone and put them in the frig. That way I can have chicken to grab for my lunch or a snack. I took some of the spaghetti squash and topped it with some of the chicken, then put on a little spaghetti sauce. That was lunch for me today. I also read on a low carb forum one time, that some people use wax beans instead of the squash. I haven't tried that though. A good day to all. Glenna

Hey all....hope everyone is doing good. David got through his sleep study just fine! He is sitting on the couch snoring now. Haven't heard anything from the boy lately so I don't have any updates...guess no news is good news? Keep the prayers going though...please!! His name is Jason, her name is Wendy.....thank you! We will NOT be coming to the get together! Sorry, money is too tight!! Our thoughts and prayers will be with each of you tho! You all have a great time and maybe next time we can be there! Almost Thursday, sorry late post.....okay, not "almost" Mom and I finally went to Jonesboro, AR shopping today, been trying to get there since Sunday. Mom got a lot of her shopping done, poor thing, she has such bad knees and feet. I got to go to Big Lots, so I call today a success!! I love that store...lol. Dylan (son) and my dad are both getting the flu, and Daddy has even had the flu shot.....it happens EVERY year at this time. Dylan has 5 more school days until he's out for Holiday Break, and we are really counting them down. Was today's weather, the wildest? The weather man said it was 10 degrees higher than normal. It sure felt warmer than only 10 above normal, but then again, I've been gone for 21 years....LOL xoxo S

Good Evening, I have had a busy day. I went to my PCP today for lab work and pap smear I have a UTI, I'm starting Cipro tonight. I have a ton of allergies and was on allergy shots for several years and I keep a chronic sinus infection. Doc want's me to have a CT scan of my sinus' friday and also will be doing some x-ray's of my spine. I always have back pain, I have DDD and I guess it's getting worse cause my back pain has gotten so much worse. I have been to pain clinics and have been on every kind of pill imaginable from ant-inflammatories to muscle relaxers to pain pills. The PCP said the only thing left is probably surgery I have had 2 sisters, one aunt and cousin that have all had back surgery and I don't know if I'm ready for that!!!!!!!!!!!! We will see what the tests show. Looking forward to Tuesday night, looks like we will have decent weather. Well Erik won on The Biggest Loser, I always felt he would be the one to win, didn't he look great!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a new pair of jeans today.....SIZE 16........... and a new blouse .............SIZE 16-18....................... I am so excited about that, it's been a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!
