protein drinks
I want to jump start, so I plan to do protein drinks only Friday and Saturday. Can you all give me some recipes? I know you all have put some on here, but I had trouble finding some of the ingredients, so please include that also. I seen my pictures from my Christmas party and was not happy! I seen one on here for a pina colada protein drink, but had trouble finding the sugar free coconut stuff. Help please.
If you go to a web browser and type in "sugar free protein drink recipe" you will get lots of websites. I like http://www.healthworks2000.com/smoothie_recipes.htm and www.unjury.com. I use Unjury and love it.

Monique,
I understand where you're coming from. Sometimes we just have to stop and go back to basics to get ourselves back on track.
There are sooo many possible combinations of making the shakes. I have experimented since my surgery 2 1/2 years ago.
Look on the Internet like was suggested, but to get you started here's a couple of simple ones.
Orange Banana Pineapple
1 cup prepared orange Crystal Lights
1 cup crushed ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
1/2 banana
Peanut Butter Banana
1 cup light vanilla soy milk (I use the 8th Continient)
1 cup crushed ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 banana
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
1 Tablespoon sf vanilla pudding, dry.....(optional)
The Pina Colada shake you were talking about was one that I put on the board. It was yummy. You can order the sf Davinci syrups from their website...www.davincigourmet.com
They have a lot of flavors to choose from.
Oh, in case you are in a chocolate mood......here's one that Claudette passed along to me:
Chocolate Mocha
1 cup light vanilla soy milk
1 cup crushed ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 Tablespoon Nestle's quik, sugar free
1/2 Tablespoon instant decaf coffee
splash of davinci sf carmel syrup (this you can find at Wal Mart in the coffee isle)
This should get you started, plus you will find a bunch on line.
Also, if you like your shakes a little thicker, you can adjust the ice and liquid amounts....more ice/less liquid for thicker shakes.
Good luck,
Glenna
