Okay, that's it! I give up! It's official!
I've been telling you all about my new little parakeet and the fact that I was trying to think of a name for her. Then I thought about naming her after Wynnona Judd because that's the only music that I had found that she likes.
The other parakeet I had but died awhile back was my first bird and she was such a character, she made us lol all the time, from the second day we had her with singing, dancing, kickboxing her toys...yes kickboxing! Chirping, bobbing her head around and the looks she gave us, yes I know birds can't make facial expressions but I swear to you this bird did! The way she tipped her head, peeking around her toys, peering over the sides of her cage. She wanted to be with me all the time, I loved it!
Now, this new little bird I have just sits in her cage! Stone, cold, still...absolutely nothing! Then one day while cleaning house I put some music on. Now, I listen to all kinds of music and the only kind I don't care for is some rap, some opera and real hard rock. This day, I just happened to have Leann Rhimes and Wynonna Judd playing, through two CD's of LR, nothing, other "radio" music, nothing! Then Wynonna comes on and this bird goes nuts! Singing, dancing (she doesn't have much rhythm, tho...lol) chirping, acting like a totally different bird! I tried switching back and forth and when the hubby got home, I showed him and he started laughing and said "no doubt"...all my animals have BIG characters! So, this is when I starting trying different names for her from the name Wynonna! We came up with Wy, Nonna and Nona...then after a few days I came up with Wyno but thought no, this may not go over too well with some folks that come to my house. Well, today I found a new singer and I played 3 of his CD's and the bird only liked one song out of the bunch! The singer is Garth Brooks! The song is....Longneck Bottle! So, I give up...her name is Official! Wyno!! LOL!! I know the story was long but I wanted everyone to hear the whole story and some weren't here for it all and I didn't want to leave anyone out!
