Sentate bill 97!!!

Ok here we go again. Senator Days is still fighting for us. She has pre-filed Senate bill 97 on Dec.1.This act requires health insurance companies to provide coverage for the treatment of morbid obesity. We have got to support this bill by writing and calling your senators.The insurance companies will show up in full force(to oppose) and we need to as well.ANYONE who has had WLS and it has changed your life for the good needs to write a letter and send pictures (before and after) if possible.Anyone who is being excluded needs to write a letter and tell your story as well. Anyone who has loved one who support you needs to get them to write a letter about how it has effected them to have WLS happen for you . Emailing your senators is good it will keep this bill fresh on their minds but it doesn't really count towards support,so send actual letters too. This is our chance to be heard and to effect change. If you've already had your surgery then do it for those who are being excluded.PLEASE. Dannielle

Dannielle could you please come to the support meeting on monday night at the Circle of Friends meeting on Battlefield at 6:30? would mean a lot if you could tell everyone there too. Maybe have the addresses of who we are to write too. and a sample of the letter would help too. Did you get approval yet on your insurance ? Would love to see you there monday night. Jan
