Well I put my application in for a job at Oacac yesterday. They said they would be calling everyone for interviews. If I get called for an interview I will ask for you all to pray for me. It has been awhile since I interviewed for a job. I just know with my knees that I couldn't possible work as a nurse again and I want and need to work so this sounds like something I would be good at and I could still be helping people.
So good to see all the ones that had surgery being released from the hospital. Valeria, Treece, Lana, Glenda. Great going girls. I know it is a little unusual at first but you all will start getting the hang of things in a few days. Just do exactly as your doctors told you to do
Sip and walk, sip and walk. It really does help.
Sherr: well you are better than I am; I am starting to put away a few things today. Will leave the tree and outside lights until Jan 1st. Don't know why but that is part of my ritual , like black eyed peas and hog jowl lol don't know that I will be able to eat any of the hog jowl this year but I can eat the black eyed peas.
I love flavored coffees but cant find any sugar free creamers yet like the ref. kind I like those because I like for my coffee to be more flavor and sweeter than coffee. I guess your dad would say I was really playing in the coffee huh?
Those massages were excellent and we are going back for seconds next Wednesday. Lol
Rachael: So did your sister get moved to Independence? Why is she moving so far away from you all? Tell your mom that if I can do it at my age im sure she can handle it with her being so much younger than I.
She will do well.
I can see your sweet baby chasing after big brother down the hallway. What a cute picture in my mind. I remember when mine were little and them doing the same things.
Andrew: Hey buddy, Yeah Joe and I plan on doing the same thing we usually do on New Years Eve, every year, we go to bed lol. By the time midnight gets here we are usually sound asleep or at least Joe is. I usually wake him up and tell him Happy New Year baby. He kisses me and grunts and goes back to sleep lol Exciting life isn't it?
So glad your new c-pap machine is working better for you. That will help you get much needed rest.
Debbie M: sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. Maybe you do need to go to the local chiro. They really are good to go too sometimes. After going to the chiro and getting straightened out make you an appointment the same day for a deep tissue massage with someone there in your town. You won't believe how much better you will feel.
So glad your Santa Clause trips went well for you and you enjoyed your kids and visits. Sounds like your youngest son maybe coming back around.
Barbara T: glad to see and hear from you as always. I know what you mean about not just sitting around this year. I want to make a difference in my life and others around me now. No more sitting.

MELISSA: hello you. So glad that you had a good visit with your family in Arkansas. And glad that you are planning on coming to the meeting January the 22nd.
Will be so very nice to see you again. The last time I saw you I don't think I had my surgery yet had I ? Wow a lot of things have happened since then.
Hope your doctor gets this problem figured out with the rashes. I know that has to be aggravating.
Oh yes did you ever get hold of Benny's aunt? I can't help but wonder about him and why he didn't have his surgery this last time.

Well, I have tried several Chiros over the years but it hasn't helped. The last one I saw said that there was nothing more that he could do for me. I still might try the one Barb mentioned. I would love a deep tissue massage....right now though we just can't afford it and besides if anybody needed one it would be the hubby, that poor man and his pain!! Still everyday, up and off to work. Somedays, I think he's in tears when he leaves the pain is so bad. He is severly flat footed and his heels keep sliding inward, it causes pain which causes his posture to be abnormal which causes pain from his feet up. Coventry (ins for Dec) and Aetna (ins starts in Jan) doesn't cover the orthonics that he needs and they are very expensive.
As for Jason, I do believe that he is coming around or at least, trying to. We will see!
CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW LOSERS!!! I'm so very proud of you guys!! The weight thats being lost around here is phenomenal!! We should add up all the weight lost from all the post surgs. and see how much weight this board has lost...lol

Good morning Missouri......
I am posting from work today......I actually had 10 prior service soldiers come in last night so I will need to process their medical records and then they will get their shots next week.....Next week will really be busy, busy because the first day we are back they have 450 new soldiers coming in to the Army.....So I probably won't be able to post so early in the am maybe not until noon.....but I will definitely be posting....
My sister is moving up there because she can get assistance and the school she wants to go to is up there....yes it is far but we all have to do what is best for ourselves....my mom is really having a hard time with it but I told her that at least my sister is finally seeing that she needs to get her act together and make something for herself and her two children.....She will do fine up there.....she has some friends up there and my dad has two friends that live close that he was stationed with in the Army....I don't know what my mom will do if we get our house on the market and it sells because we may be moving to Nebraska to be with my hubby's family...
I talked to Melissa last night for a few minutes and she is still itching.......bless her heart but hopefully the doctor has figured out exactly what is causing this problem because I know that itching is not fun....I plan to call Melissa today around lunch because our call got interrupted last night by my mother in law....
Yes to see my kids play together is the greatest thing ever.....To think two and half short years ago I would have never been able to keep up with my children let alone have my little girl.....God is good and what a blessing He has given me in my beautiful children and wonderful husband.....Hopefully with my new digital camera I will be able to post a couple pics on here....my hubby is a little skeptical about it but maybe I can send them in emails to people....I will work on getting some together for everyone.....
Well I will be without my son today and tomorrow because he is going with papa and my sister to help her move into her new apartment....he is so funny sometimes.....last night when I went to pick him up from my parents he cried all the to my house wanting to go with my sister and my dad....they had told him no, so we get in the house and I was using the restroom and he walked by me and my daughter who was visiting me while I was going potty and gave us a dirty look....I told him not to try us like crap because he can't go with them and his statement back to me was " well you are keeping Aunt Gena from me....." I immediately picked up my cell phone and called my sister told her what he said well needless to say she got on the phone with him and told him not to talk to me like that and then all of a sudden my dad says in the background just let him go....Well then he got his way and he gets to go....of course my sister laid down ground rules and he will work and help move and put away stuff.....and of course before he could leave my house last night she told him he needed to clean his room....well you know how it goes when you tell an eight year old to clean his room....he made the bed and moved stuff around so it could not be seen....that is ok it will still be there when he gets back tomorrow sometime......today I need to call the bowling alley and plan a party for him....I told him that he could have six people and no more then six people.......I need to get his cake ordered also because his birthday is next weekend.....because he got so much for Christmas I think I am just going to get him a gift card to Blockbuster so he could buy himself a couple dvd's since he got his portable dvd for Christmas....and I will probably get him something small from his sister.....
Well I have rambled on enough for now....I need to go pick up my records for my soldiers and start getting them processed......Hope everyone has a wonderfully blessed day.....

What is oacac Jan? Not familiar with that name. Thought I would stop by and say hello to everyone. We have been having so much fun at my house this week. All of our children are here together which is a miracle in itself. We have been blessed as they were all here to celebrate our anniversary in June and now again. We had 2 children here from Texas, one from Kansas, one from Illinois, one from Ohio, and one from Indiana. Some are still here and will be till Sunday morning. On Wed nite we had 26 for supper. It was wonderful. Our son from Indiana is laying a new tile floor in our main bathroom today. We have played cards and been up late. As I write this, I am the only one up at present. Glad to hear that you are all doing well. And all the surgeries are also over and everyone is doing great. Have a Happy New Year. I have been off work all week and that has been a joy also. Colette
Well, good morning all!
I tell ya, if we could bottle up the the spirit of the prayer warriors on here, we would be millionaires...lol I awoke this morning feeling great and didn't even realize that I wasn't in pain until I read the posts replying to my prayer request...WooHoo!!!!! I carried my full coffee pot (one I have for my office, 24 ounces) in here, threw old bananas out the back door to the dogs, (my male retriever loves them) and theres NO PAIN!!!!
Thank you all, miliions and millions for your prayers!! That pain was awful and I was to the point of tears! Thank you Lord for giving me the gift of my friends on here, they are true warriors!!
