WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY..............

Oh wow did we ever work out yesterday in water aerobics. I ask her to give us some exercises for the back and legs and mine were wobbling when we finished lol. Who ever says tha****er aerobics isn't much exercise don't know me and how I push myself. I am way to completive I guess. First I want to say Welcome and hi to some of our newbies: Mellisa L., Richelle K.,and Jane Pea**** Welcome to the Mo. Board and we hope you all come back often and post more about yourselves so we can get to know you. I don't know about everyone else but I am really really tired of all of this cold weather. It just doesn't seem like it wants to let up that is for sure. We have had to turn the heat back down and I have had to learn to put on more clothes. Our elect bill came in and we about swallowed our tongues 426.00 lol can you imagine. Well part of that , probably a big part is because of the green house too I would imagine, I know that before next winter we will be finding an alternative heating source in there. That is awful. Of course we have had some really cold weather too. Now don't you all feel better about your elect bill? Lol Dannielle: So how did your appointment go yesterday in Tulsa? Did they take more blood for a pro-time? I hope you will be ok with all of that? Janet: A get to gether would be loads of fun wouldn't it? WE will have to see how many would be interested. I think it really sounds good whether here or there or both. Lol Sounds like you have figured out exactly where to put the little tomato plants I will bring them to you this meeting ok? You will have the fun of raising them from babies on up. Lol That is awful that that son would take everything away from her like that. I don't know how he could anyway.Did the man that passed away have a will or was the house in both their names? That is sad that people get like that when someone they are suppose to love dies. I told my kids that I don't intend to leave them anything im going to spend every penny I can while im here lol Sorry about all that you are going thu lately with the ex and all but "this too shall pass" Andrew: We had chili for supper yesterday too. Since my surgery it is the one thing I can eat well. I measured mine out last night to see home much I can eat and it was a ½ cup that was it. I figured it was more. I thought more like a cup ful at least. Yeah I already had to breath lol though maybe you might run right over and wash that truck for us. But no. your too busy at the gym. Getting skinny huh? Hey your deck will be looking really good this summer with those spider plants all around it . Rachael: sure am glad that baby girl is getting better. I think prayer does that you know? Certainly glad that your mom is doing well and that they declared your sisters car totaled. All good news. Sherr: hey good to see you back again. How is the puppy? How old is he? I hope and pray that he will get better and be cancer free. That is so sad that dogs and cats have to suffer with things like that. Certainly hope he gets better. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good Early Morning Everyone: Wow it has been a long time since I got to be the first one to reply to Jan's What's Happenings!!! Was back over at my F-I-L's house yesterday. Cleaning on the kitchen I didnt get too it on Thursday. I ended up running around and packing stuff. Were going back on today to finish and ru to the store for him. Just in case we do end up getting some bad weather. I am hoping not I am ready to get this move over with. My F-I-L was up when we arrived and talktive just a jabbering away. Which isnt like him at all. But I did enjoy is company, he told me if I keep loseing weight like I have been I am going to have to buy a awhole new clothes. lol I thought it was cute!!! I am sore stiff and hurting like cray but I am behaveing myself and not lifting anything I'm not suppose to be lifting!!!! I hope you all have a great weekend. Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ Didnt get done nearly what I needed to get done this Friday because the weather was so stinking cold. Those of you *****ad my posts will laugh about this one-our trash man didnt pick up ANYONES trash on our country road-and so I went down in the afternoon to check and make sure everything was ok with the trash.....AND THERE WAS 8 DOGS-2 adults and 6 pups that had tipped over one can and taken ALL the bags out of it-and it was spread almost 1/4 mile long-DANG....Thank goodness that I took THE BAG with all the old bras and panties away from the front door before the kids took it to the can-decided with MY LUCK that I better not put it out for the trash man....just in case the bag ripped on him or something- Ok-so anyway-the dogs belonged to a gentleman that MOVED on Feb 3rd. He left 10 total-the mom and dad and their 8 pups behind...NO FOOD, NO WATER....they were starving-you could see all their ribs and they were shaking cause he used to let them stay in his basement, but the door was shut etc-and they had nothing out there for shelter. I called my daughter because I didnt want Jon out in that cold while I cleaned the mess up-her and her fiance came-helped find 3 of the pups (they had run into the woods and were bedded down under the leaves!) We called the sheriff, because out here we dont have a pound or anyone to pick them up-so they said the sheriff would take care of it-then HIS friend (of the guy that moved) across from him told the sheriff he came out and GOT ALL THE DOGS AT 8 AM...I said-well, thats funny cause it was one pm when I found ALL of them but 2 in my trash AND if he came and got them ALL, how did we capture 3 from the woods and they are in my daughters car? We are feeding them et****il she can get them to the humane society tomorrow. Our mail lady gave her some money for dog food- Anyway-told the sheriff I was willing to sign complaint against gentleman (David) and there were 2 others who said the same thing-so there were 3 of us total signing...he said that he has to ASSUME that the friend was telling the truth. Said-well, HE ISNT....I AM...and he said that IF/WHEN we see more- to call them out immediately and they will charge him with 10 counts of animal cruelty-one count for each dog. So-being the level headed person I am-promptly told THE FRIEND: You better get David on the phone and tell him that he better get his *ss out here and get those dogs to safety, because I will be watching and as soon as just ONE rears its head-he is going DOWN.... Those poor little pups were scarfing the food faster than we could pour i****er too! My daughter was crying-she is an animal lover and almost became a vet. I nominated Mel for a monday makeover on KODE-TV....I had to write this little essay about why she deserves it-and while I was writing it-I started to tear up....I hope that they pick her-and WHEN they do-I will post so that EVERYONE can get up bright and early and watch her on channel 12 (those of you who get that channel)....I will tape it for anyone else LOL... Steph has a singing competition tomorrow-then a sleep over tomorrow night, in which Steph talked her older sister into hosting it somehow-I was okay with that tho-cause at least "I" will get some sleep. LOL....then church on Sunday with Mel and Terry, which they actually attend the same church as my ex M-I-L....what a small world, huh? Okay-so then we will meet the ex at his place to talk to the girls-so I just may be calling the best buddy...depending on HOW that goes. My hubby may be sitting there biting nails with her until the whole ordeal is over and done with....its like one of the suspense/horror movies and your just waiting for that ax to fall-tried to stay in a peaceful place today.....well-I am off to bed-I have to get everything done I didnt do today and go get some things from Mel...I will tt you later-have a wonderful weekend and stay warm....Jan

Janet, I am so proud of you about the dogs. I am an advocate for animals and I would like to find the man who left them and leave him outdoors for 6 days with no food or water. I hate mean people and feel that if they would do that to a dog they'd do it to a child or older weaker person. I think your Sheriff should believe the ones who have the dogs in their car and if you'd like I'll give him a call. I am not afraid of anyone or anything where animals are concerned. You know someone famous, Plato or some philosopher said "You can judge a civilization by the way they treat their animals" and I totally believe that is true. Enough ranting!!! I'm so glad to have this board. I feel like all of you are such dear friends and I can ask/tell you almost anything. It is wonderful because you don't think I'm totally obsessed with my surgery!!! I know my daughter kind of does and I know it seems that way to her but right now everything is about me and what I can and cannot eat. We went to Branson Landing today to walk around. The first time we've gone. We went to the Philly Cheesesteak place and I got a chicken/cheese sandwich and ate 1/2 of the meat, no bread. It was enough and tasted good and set well. I feel so free to be able to go to a restaurant and find food to eat. We used to eat out at least once a week so it's good to get back to some kind of routine. Didn't find one thing I needed to buy at the Landing. Clothes are what I love and with the changing size of my body I just don't want to spend much on clothes right now. I did get some Levi's and already had to take them up in the thighs. If my belly fat would go as quickly as the thigh have I'd be sooooooo glad. But, I'll take whatever I can get!!! I know many folks have thigh problems so I shouldn't be so gripey. It's just that my problem is in the middle!!! Oh well, I guess we are never quite satisfied. Hugs and love to all of you. Lana

Good morning Missouri.... Well just thought I would drop a note to say hello and God bless....I am up because I had to get my hubbys clothes ironed for work...and while my daughter is still asleep I am going to get my shower and my hair done and I might even put on some mascara....lol I have her bag all packed for the day and I was even able to find a nice pair of clogs and an outfit to wear today and we are both going to be wearing pink....my hubby charged the batteries on my digital so I can take pictures today at my aunts 70th birthday party....I am getting excited about it because there is a lot of my dads family that have not met Jaiden yet....the most exciting part is that I bought some little barrettes for Jaidens hair and she actually has enough hair that I can get them in....finally I thought she was going to be bald forever...... Janet C, that is a wonderful idea you did for Mel......If they need another recommendation please let me know and I would be glad to write a wonderful letter.... Mel, you better not be lifting anything heavy or I will have to drive to Joplin and personally whip your tail....... Jan C, I am sure hoping that I can get to the meeting so I can partake in some of those tomato plants....I love fresh tomatoes in the summer....they are my favorite.... Good afternoon folks... Wow, you guys seeing the news about New York getting snowed in...and we thought we had it bad!! Last night the news said they were up to 9 feet and it was still coming down! The weather man here said we are in for some more snow. I think he said, it was gonna start this evening with the first storm, then another will hit I think Sunday night and go til Tuesday!! Go buy your supplies now!! Looks like everyone is staying busy...that's good thing. I find myself trying to stay busy so I don't think about food so much! I have read some bad situations with some of our MO peeps...I pray that everything will be okay for everyone! I tried posting the other day when you all were talking about reality shows and it disappeared on me! I'm really getting tired of that! What I was trying to type that day was that David's favorite reality show would be Extreme Home Makeover! Mine would be So you Think You Can Dance! We both love Survivor, American Idol, Big Brother and Celebrity Dancing. I have to tape a lot of the shows because their on the same time LOST, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds and Vegas CSI. Oh, by the way.....the rash on my belly was from the glue on the bandages. I still have it but I'm working on it. Andrew...you guys ever get any gravel for your driveway? I trust and you guys are doing well! Anyone ever hear from David W or any of our others missing folks? Well, I'm outta here! Sitting around kills me anymore. Good Evenin All, We've had a pretty busy day today. I got up at 4am and went to the church then over to Delosge to pick up Angel Food this morning, came back to the church and distributed it all til about 10ish, then Susan and I went to the gym and did 45 mins of cardio, after that I was so tired, I came home and crashed til about 3pm. Jan Im like you with chili, we eat it often cuz I can eat it with no problems. We use ground turkey tho cuz it seems to have more protein then beef and really ya cant tell a difference, at least I cant, plus its less greasy. I can eat about 3/4 of a cup of it before I'm full, that sure beats two or three bowl fulls I used to eat lol oh I put cheese in it which gives it more protein. Tomorrow Im gonna try some baked fish, I havnt had that since surgery. Deb you all sound like reality tv junkies too LoL Didja see Greys thursday night?? my gosh poor Merideth!!!! That left ya in suspense til next week lol Yup the landlord here hauled in a truck load of gravel, thank the Lord, we can actually park the car and walk to the steps of the deck without getting into mud, even tho the mud right now is froze lol He still has to haul in a lil more for around our shed, I went into the shed which is directly behind our mobile home, there is still a bunch of mud around the door, he said he'd haul some more in soon. I just cant wait for the warm weather to come, I guess we're suppose to get some snow on monday and tuesday here, hope its not to much. Otherwise we're doing good Deb just tryin to stay busy, seems I gotta keep movin myself but like ya said, thats a good thing. Ya'll keep Susan in your prayers, her hours at work have been cut again, this week she's only worked 2 nights and now next week its like that too, she's been lookin for something different but around here there's not much, ya gotta drive 25 - 35 miles to the bigger towns, we're thinking of some different options so keeps us in your prayers that I keep my eyes and heart open to what the Lord wants us to do. Also this last week I went through the process of filling out apps for student aide from several different sources plus through the government. Im also in the process of enrolling in some classes online for Health Care Administration, Im trying to do it online to save gas and what not, I'd have to drive into farmington to take classes like that. The way things look right now, I'll be taking Health Care Admin classes plus nursing classes, Im really nervous that I can do this but with the Lords help Im sure I can, its just been ages since I've been in school lol. Well I guess thats it for now, gonna go try to find something on the tv, tonight there really isnt much on, been watching Nascar tho, I love racing. Well my EGD (throat scope) went fine.They didn't take more blood because my blood was good when it was checked on Thursday. Boy oh boy now those are some drugs ! They had me so looped that I thought I was in the MATRIX !(like the movie) I could never be a druggie. I just don't like being looped like that. Luckily it wore off pretty quick. The procedure was over and done with in minutes. I swore they hadn't done anything. One minute I was gargling and swallowing the NASTIEST stuff on earth to numb my throat and the next minute I was waking up in the MATRIX. WEIRD !! I start my liquid diet tomorrow and have my IVC filter put in on Tuesday and Wednesday is the big day. It's coming quick. My kids think I'll be grumpy on the liquids tomorrow and until surgery but I dont think so. We'll see. Well until tomorrow. Love you guys and I truely appreciate all of the support and fine examples of courage and strength on this board. Dannielle
