My surgery is tomorrow morning!

Good Evening, Missouri Peeps! Hope everyone had as great a weekend as my hubby and I did. We had a great time at the Lodge of the Four Seasons and I enjoyed a very relaxing neck, shoulder and back massage. Right after that I went upstairs and joined my hubby for a 3 hour nap! I think I was more relaxed than I have been in months. Felt great. We leave for Sedalia at 6am. I have to be there by 8am. Margie said I was the second surgery of the day which would make it between 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Please remember me in your prayers. My sweet wls Julia will be there. I'm sure she will post as to my condition as soon as she can. I am at peace with my decision and am certain the Lord will guide Dr. Hornbostel's hands. I'm looking forward to my new life. I realize it won't be easy and I'm sure there will be times I will have "buyers remorse". But as most of you know I have been looking into this wls surgery for about 15 months. I've prayed every step of the way and believe this is an answer to my prayer. Thank you to everybody for their prayers and support. I hope to be home by Wednesday. Debbie I pray that you have a wonderful and unevenful surgery tomorrow. I know that Dr. Hornbostel is a skilled and great surgeon and he depends on God to guide him. So be content in your decision and all is going to go well. we will be waiting for Julias post about how you are doing. Jan

Hey Deb, you just get that bench warmed up for me because I am right behind you. I head for St Louis on Tues and will have Surgery on Wed morning at 9! I will keep you lifted in prayer tomorrow! Will wait to see the posts that you are fine and dandy! Sugar

Hey there AUNTIE SUG! You be sure and wax that bench because you and Deb have to slide over in 28 days. I am wishing you well. We will celebrate when we can get a chance to meet this summer. Patricia's is Friday this week so there will be a whole lota scooting going on!!!!Take care Julia

Debbie D. (I got it right that time ) Oh - my prayer are with you this morning. I hope for you a safe drive to the hospital, all good sticks with they come at you with the needles, a lovely peaceful rest during your surgery and pain that is manageable afterward !! I'm coming right along after you this Friday so as much as I'd love to meet you I pray you aren't still in the hospital by Friday when I come in at 6:00 am.
