WHATS HAPPENING -----------FRIDAY

Hello everyone.... Sorry I have been missing in action this week but we have been very busy here at work....I went to the doctor yesterday and they ran some blood work on me and also changed my medicine for my migranes...I will now have to give myself shots of Imitrex for my migranes and take a medicine twice a day....I also have an appointment with the Neurologist next Wednesday.....So we will see how things go.... Mom has been reading on here but not posting...I talked with her last night and told her she needed to post as well as read....my sister is coming in today so that we can all celebrate her daughters birthday this weekend...I am really excited for her, I have not seen her since she moved.....Also she just finished another quarter of her schooling and so far she is making straight A's.....I told her how proud of her that I am... Well once again just because I don't get to post doesn't mean that I am not thinking of all of you....I do at least try and read everyday..if I don't get to post...I pray everyday for each and everyone of you.... There is one thing I need to ask...My cousin has Cushing's disease and had to undergo surgery last summer to have a tumor removed from her pituatary gland well needless to say it is back and she is having a really hard time with the Cushing's...I just ask that everyone keep her in their prayers...her name is Paula....We are going to have a benefit for her in April because they have exhausted all resources and they are still paying on her surgery from last year....Just pray for divine healing...she is a wonderful girl and just adopted a little girl a year and a half ago and with all the symptoms of her Cushing's she has a hard time being the mommy that she wants to be.....We love her very much and are all praying the God will intercede with this situation.... Hi Rachael, Please let me know when the benefit is for Paula-and where etc-and I will do my best to get there, and if you are doing an auction or anything like that, let me know and I will find something to auction off....OK? I used to head our fundraisers at Freeman Hospital here for some patients and co-workers going through the same thing! I would love to help-so I can donate items, time or if you are having food-I can make up something and bring it for you. Hi Jan, Well the "D" stands for 2 things, first Dummy, Second "D" is what he has been called for years. His name is Darrell. But the family and I like the dummy interpretation. Yes Janet you and I need to go fishing! My family is a fishing fool family. But even tho I don't catch them like everyone else I still love it. In 2004 I caught a nice channel cat, It was the night before I had shoulder surgery and I wanted to fish one last time, but I got a barb from the fish lodged in my thumb. I had to cut the fish off the barb and go to ER. I went to KU in Kc and they had to x-ray. It was laying right next to the bone. It took them a while to get it out and then clean it. Dr. said I should have my surgery cancelled but my Ortho said no! I took the barb to show and tell in surgery the next day.It was painful that night. But I got a good laugh out of it. Jan, Gretta said she would not be able to be my angel but would check on me. She e-mailed me from California. She made it there fine.The funeral is Saturday. I don't know how long she will be staying. I am still not sure who will be with me there tho. My daughter needs to be at work and DBF and my Sister DO NOT DO HOSPITALS!!! It may be my son-in-law and granddaughter Ayanna. They are the ones who like to "baby me" when something happens I am one of these people who usually just drive my self and call family afterwards. It doesn't bother me. But I want someone to call you so you can give my official post. I will let you know later. I have 3 weeks left. It rained all night last night, real slow but we have what looked like small lakes in the yard. It had just got to where we could walk on the sidewalks with out walking in water. But not now!!! Jan, Love to read your post, they are so inspiring to me. Please let me know when the reunion is, where, etc. I am pre-op but will have my surgery on april 24th and will be ready for a picnic. Want to clarify losing weight at the rate of speed. Age, Health, activity, sex, and water..... are you referring to how much sex or the gender? I know how much water. LOL Ginger
