Mad At Me.....

Okay...got on the scale this morning. Didn't like what I saw...I'm up about 15 pounds from my lowest post-op weight. I still need to lose quite a bit to get to my goal. Now I have an extra 15 to lose. I KNOW how I'm supposed to be eating. But I let myself get off track, let myself start eating and drinking things I know I shouldn't be. I haven't exercised in I don't know how long -- partly because I fell and messed up my knee quite badly and could barely walk for some time. But now I'm paying the price and I'm mad at myself!!!! Gotta get off dead center, get back to doing what I KNOW I'm supposed to be doing, and get the next 100 off....UGH!!!! I'm so frustrated with me!!! And my goal was to be at my goal weight by the time I turned 50...which is in just 11 days!! Oh well...I know what I need to do...I just have to get back to doing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C.J.....Don't beat your self up over the 15 lbs.....you still have the tool and know how to loose it again and then some....I don't think anyone has been completly perfect at this weight loss thing. Is you knee feeling better enough for you to start walking again? Keep your head up and be proud of what have already accomplished !!!! You said you Know what you are suppose to be doing.....Just pick up and start working at it again.....We will keep you in our prayers......HUGS & LOVE.....Tammy H

Hey there, You are SOOOO not alone in this struggle here, which I'm sure is why you felt comfortable to pos tit here. : ) I do hope you can start the walking and as your body tolerates more physical activity then increase the walking to more than jsut at lunch. It's getting nicer outside, take advantage of that! : ) I've been doign a regular INTENSE workout 4X/wk since January and am jsut NOW seeign the physical changes. It's so hard to continue doing what's RIGHT when you do see the changes quickly..just like the boat we were in pre-op but it WILL happen and once the ball gets rolling it will get easier for you to keep up the routine and if you can find others to do it with you that will help so much! Best wishes....don't be MAD just refocus because all that negative thinking (being mad at you) is not going to do you any GOOD!! (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) Tami

Hi Connie, I'm pretty new on this board but not to the weight loss battle. Just remember one day at a time and you'll get back on the right track. Casey
