Thanks you for all your prayers
We are back from our vist down south (which is where I grew up and it was nice to be home). Court went wonderful and I truly think it was directly related to all of your prayers.
For those of you who are shaking your head wondering what are you talking about here is a brief update.
My dh was not getting visit with his 9 year daughter. Her mom, while she is a caring mother is a bit of a control freak and did not like to share her daughter even with the child's own father. The origianal degree did not state set visitation but said that they would agree to agree on visitation when both could agree. Well if anyone here has been divorced you know you are divorced because you CANT agree on things.
SO we went to court to ask that set visitation be awarded, along with a few other changes.
WELL we will have a visit in two weeks on her spring break and 5 weeks this summer along with a week at christmas time. We are so excited. Last year we saw her just three weeks in the summer. The other times we had to fly down for one or two days to get to see her. The year before that try ONLY 9 days she was allowed to visit.
Praise the Lord. All we wanted to it to be fair and equal and I feel that the judge, courts and lawyers did a great job ensuring that was done.
SO let me get off here and read all the post I have missed the last few day. I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
