Jan, Just popped in this afternoon to see if there was news on Sugar. I'm glad they have figured out what her problem is, so they can get her fixed up and back on her way. I will be praying for her. Thanks for the update. Glenna

Dear Jan, Mel clld DePaul hospital and they said they didnt have a Sugar Sims there....ok-so is she confidential or listed there under a different name? We are asking because there is a link that we can get on and email her cards and the hospital will deliver them to her.....Let us know, please.....also-any new news? Jan...My post from earlier didn't show up so I am writing a quick post here to let you know that I am praying as well! God be with you, Sugar and her family! I know she will be fine but it's still scary! David is home now so I need to go cook dinner. I will try to post more later! Deb M

I am so glad they know whats wrong with Sugar. I hope she has a speedy recovery. I didn't even know anything was going on. I haven't been on for a few days because of school. Please let her know I am thinking of her and sending prayersa up also. Thanks Michelle

Jan, Just wanted to say I am happy sugar will be ok. The drain was probably the problem from the beginning as she had pain with it. I also know that drains are very important after surgery to get the extra fluid out. Sometimes infections happen due to poor washing hands technique or who know what could have not been as sterile as it needed to be. The important thing is they can take care of it. Minor surgery with lancing the site and cleaning it out real good and healing inside to outside will be great. After the antiobiotics she will feel great. We will continue to pray for her. Jan, So glad they finally know what is wrong. Now she can be fixed up and soon she'll be good as new. Of course, I've been praying for her all day. So glad she's on the mend. Sorry you all have had to go through this. Bummer!!! I love you both so much. Hugs and love and tell her I'm thinking of her. But I'm really busy making all those jackets!!! Lana

Thank the good Lord it wasn't internal bleeding,Tell her next time you talk to her that she's got our prayers and a big 'O' hugs from me.

Make sure you tell her we all are thinking about her everyday, and we want to be kept up to date on her!
