Started the day off going to the doctors office to check on my lab work. Wow the doctor was really pleased . Everything was in the normal range . She said that if she didn't know better she would think she was looking at the lab work of a kid lol. But everything , everything is in the normal range. She wants me to do my mammogram and have a bone denisity test. So those will be done for this year, so have them schuled for the 18th. She put me on Requip for my restless leg syndrome. So will see if that really helps. She said that most assuredly could be making me be tired some days. We planted the grasses after I got home today out in front on each side of the driveway .I have pampas grass and red bunny grass on each side now and am growing some white bunny tails(short) in the green house plus some Angel hair grass too . will then put gravel around all of it to keep the weeds out. On the way home from the doctors office I stopped at the flea market in Kissee Mills and found an old hand water pump so I bought that. Also bought the bottem of an old wringer type washer. To sit over in the shade garden and plant flowers in. We are going to get started on the ponds probably Wed or Thursday. I am thinking that hand water pump would look really good with them. My lady banks rose is blooming like crazy. I so hope we don't get frost this next week. Will be so sad to see stuff ruin. Well my Guest house is going to be taken for awhile starting the 26th of this month. I hope for not too long but my granddaughter and her husband are in dire straights and I cant see letting them go onto the streets. If it were just the two of them might teach them a lesson but they have 2 babies. So that makes the situation totally different. Janet: I don't now which day we have had is the leader of the pack , so to speak, about the prettiest day. Amazing. Yeah 4 months you can try almost anything to eat. Just depends on you and your pouch. I too love salads and I am able to eat them without any problems. I eat at least 4 a week. Love to shred ham and cheese on them. Along with jalepanio stuffed olives on it. Lol My tummy doesn't like meat too well but it loves hot and spicy stuff. Go figure.lol I don't have any trouble with any veggy tho. And I can eat ground beef like in Chili,. That is a standard thing with my eating. Hopefully I can bring you some Lilac starts to the next meeting. I have about 6 in my yard and I will go to my brothers and get you some ok? Sounds like you all had a really good time at your barbque and RC cars the other night. When we have our Reunion you will have to bring them with you sounds like fun. That was great that you got your hubby to help you clean. Joe has done most all of our cleaning for a long time but I am trying to take it over again,. But I always find things to do outside that is a lot more fun lol. Love the new pictures they are really good. Your children are very pretty and John looks like a absolute cutie. Couldn't tell a whole lot but your husband looks really cute too from what I could see. Rachael:So sorry to hear about your grandmother in law. I hope they are able to keep her free of pain. That is so neat that you will get to meet Melissa when you come down to Springfield. Im still hoping that you will be at a support meeting soon. Vesta: Well did you call your doctor and get an appointment for blood test? I sure hope so. It sounds like you aren't getting enough of some vit. Or of protein. One or the other. Are you able to drink the protein shakes made with ON yet? I never had that problem Ive been able to drink them as soon as I was allowed milk products. I love them. My mums you gave me starts off of are blooming . Melissa:I certainly hope they find what is wrong with your FIL and can fix him. Did you get all your flowers planted it sure was a pretty day and now they are saying that we are suppose to get really cold weather again. I hope all that has been planted by people will be ok. That will be neat that you finally get to meet Rachael and her baby daughter. How have you been feeling? Doing ok on the pain meds? Hello and welcome to all the newbies and would like to welcome you to post here about your day to day life and let us get to know you. If anyone wants to be on the birthday list and aren't already on there please email me with your name and birthday and I will insert it on there. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN.

NOW he wants DH to bring out his bike (bicycle) so dad can try and ride it!!!! Oh Lord I dont even have the strength or time for that one. DH doesnt think it is a good idea. DUH!!! But my F-I-L is very stubborn. Hopefully DH can distract him away from it. Anyhow I will make sure I keep my cellphone on me today. JUST IN CASE!!!!! Lord help me!!!!

Good morning everyone! Sorry that I have been too much, I have been pretty caught up with things around here at home! UPDATE ON FURBABIES...Jake was doing really good yesterday, eating and drinking and wanting to play so I decided to hold off on the vet, to see if I could help him get through this illness at home. This morning he is not touching food and water again but is still very playful. I will be calling my older son later to have him bring the truck over so we can go ahead and get him to the vet. Gracee is doing just fine! UPDATE ON SON...Since Jason has a short temper, just like his Mom and Dad. I decided it was best that I wrote our answer in a letter and send it to him. I was nice but told him that we could not do it. With all the drama we get from him alone, is too much. That mine and David's health isn't the best and that we didn't need ANY undo stress. I told him that neither David or I could handle having a baby in the house either, more than just a day or two at a time is more than enough, so that was a no as well. I also reminded him of our belief that two women cannot live in the same house together (for the most part). So Wendy could not stay here either. Her and I have had too many misunderstandings already and we don't need to add more. I told him that I would help them by looking in the newspaper or getting online to help them in their relocation, with jobs and housing. I also mentioned about him and his new little family moving in with his brother and his girlfriend. I added that he needed to contact our pastor to see if he could help. I know when my sister and her hubby moved to Missouri, our pastor went through another pastor that owned property and got them in an apartment without having to pay anything up front. Hopefully he can do the same for them. I also told him to see about getting state aid, as well. He is going to be mad, he always is when he doesn't get his way (he bulls up like an old toad) but I warned him here awhile back that the way he was going was the wrong way of doing things. I even told him that if he got Wendy pregnant, not to come knocking on our door. We don't have the money or means to support them. He told me he was grown and knew how to live without us! So all I can say is kiddo, do your best! We will be praying! It might sound harsh, but it's time for a little tuff love on those two...before that baby gets here! It's raining and thundering here...hope you all are getting your plants watered too!! Love & Prayers, Deb M

Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ Well, the weather looks like it might turn rainy-they said we could get some bad weather today, hope not! I told the little guy if it didnt rain today we would go to the park. They said that 4 letter word on the weather report this morning-they said we could get the "S" word tomorrow-what on earth is up with that? NO MORE SNOW!! NO MORE....if it snows-and it gets cold this week-I will not get pears or cherries this year-they are sooo touchy! Yesterday I went and got my Easter Shopping done. I just have a few things to get for Stephanie-and yes-she is older-but I do it until they leave home-LOL...I even got a little bunny for Megan-LOL...We are going to have dinner here and our easter egg hunt, so hopefully it wont rain! Mike and I were RC racing last night and the front of Mikes staduim truck busted right in half-I wasnt even on the track when it happened-thank Goodness-or I am sure I would have crashed into him or something-LOL...and then I would feel bad- So, I am sure we will be at the Hobby World getting that part tonite-LOL. I started getting a lot done yesterday-and then my back was so bad that I actually went and laid down-me-laid down!! I put the heating pad and the back massager and took it easy for a couple of hours-that was tough. Felt like I was wasting time! I called the ortho and told his nurse that not even the percocet was working and that where the Dr. thought I had ribs out of place is killing me again and that I only had like 2-3 hours of relief and that was it. She said she would tt the dr and cll me back-I may end up going in the morning as she said they had an opening Weds morning. Dont think I will be going with Mel and Terry in the morning-I have too many things against me-my back for 1, then I only have a sitter until 10, and then ortho dr ofc said I could come in at 9:30-so there are several things. Mel is worried about me taking pain meds and driving that far. Me too. I am sure we will be on the phone though and just as soon as I hear something, I will post it. Jan-shouldnt have made my beef comments-I asked Mike to BBQ burgers last night, and I didnt hv a bun or anything-but I dumped for over an hour. It was pretty bad. That was awful. I was so glad when that was over!! I too, find that I can eat hot and spicy stuff that I never ate or liked before surgery. I think the hardest part after surgery is learning about your pouch and what works and what doesnt-because it could be different the next time you try it-LOL...Thank goodness I have my handful of things that havent made me ever sick-and I stick to them when my pouch is being touchy-my salads, yogurt, cheese and ham lunchmeat-those are always safe and never make me sick (BELIEVE ME I AM KNOCKING ON WOOD-LOL).... I am getting ready to send a package off to Tammy-so Tammy-you will be getting one soon and I hope it will brighten your day and I hope your grand daughter has fun Sunday-I know I am looking forward to Jons easter egg hunt this year-and he is SO excited- We have so many newbies-its gonna take me awhile to get to know them and when they will be having surgery or where they are in their journey-which I think is great-the more the merrier-wish they wouldnt LURK so much-and POST so we could get to know you better HINT HINT.....we would LOVE to hear from you!!! Well, I better get off here-have done some other postings this morning....Jan and Tammy, thanks for the compliments on the pics-I think my kids are gorgeous-but then what mother doesnt? LOL...Jon and I are going to town to pay some bills and get some potatos and odds and ends-and then home again...pretty sure its gonna rain, so I may just rent him a movie or game that he hasnt seen or played yet. Then I have to get over to Mel and Terrys place to get the low down on where dads pills are kept and all of that-plus have a card for Mel to give Terry after surgery and some goodies. Hope everyone has a good day, stays dry and I will tt you all later. Love, Jan

Hello Missouri, Nothing exciting to report today. It's stormy and restless outside, but no real rain or even wind yet. But the clouds look dark. There is a track meet on the football field outside my window and they are trying so hard to get it finished before it rains. It's fun to see all the kids. They try to hard. We have been having lots of trouble with our satellite TV, I have decided that there is a malfunction in the feed from the satellite to our set, when it's windy it is much worse. I called the company and they said a service call would be $70. That seems a little weird to me since the problem is with the equipment we rent from them. DH will set them straight I'm sure. I cooked some chicken thighs in the crockpot with SF barbeque sauce last night so I'll be eating them for weeks - lol. I have a problem with portions when I'm cooking. I still cook like both of us are going to eat lots. Ate some shrimp last night and they really feel dense in my pouch. They don't exactly hurt but feel really strange - I can tell they are there. The good news is they stay in there for a long time so there's no room for anything else. I am not hungry yet but sometimes my mind says I need to eat something but not after shrimp. I made the no bake cookies last Friday night and I had a flop. They were way too dry, wouldn't stick together. I finally just scraped them into an 8 x 8 pyrex dish and I eat it with a spoon but it's more the consistency of granola. What did I do wrong? Hope everyone has a safe and storm-free evening. Hugs and love, Lana
