clear liquid diet!?!

omg i think i am dying! this is only the first day and i feel light headded and sooooooooooo hungry! i still have a week left! i do not think i will survive!

thank you Charlotte. I didnt have to do a clear liquid diet with Dr. H. when I had my surgery. Is it all clear liquids for 2 whole weeks now? or just a liquid diet? The phrase keep your eye on the prize is how i try to live my life. By keeping my eyes on Jesus and what will be the prize of doing that someday. It isnt easy but nothing that is worth anything comes easy. love you girls Jan

Yes it is liquids now. I thought I could fly under the radar. LOL But no such luck. It is 5 cans a day for 2 weeks of Slimfast high Protein. I had just stocked up on the wrong Slimfast......so hubby will drink those. Well I think I will shadow you on your outlook. I love it! Thanks for being you. Oh, I spoke with Julia today and she sounded wonderful! I was going to stop in and see her but by the time they finished with my endoscopy they had me in a wheel chair and at the door. I was really too dizzy to try and walk it. So I called her when I got home. Charlotte

Wow, I remember when I did my two week liquid diet, thought I was gonna straight die!! But guess what.. I didn't and it actually wasn't too bad.. I really started to like broth.. tasted like food.. and I lost 17 lbs doing it.. it was weird at first, but after a few days its really cool.. maybe that's a stretch using the word cool, but................ You can do it.. stay positive!! Treece

Hi Carissa, We have a post going about Angels/Angelettes and we hadnt heard from you. Tammy indicated that you didnt have an angel yet-so I am volunteering. I know I will not be able to come to the hospital due to some back problems right now-BUT....I am more than willing to post your outcome and talk to you about any situations/concerns/questions you may have afterwards.
