WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Hey were is everyone. Only two people answered my post? That is weird. I know I am exhausted tonight . I worked in the gardens to the t point of giving out. The sun was so hot and I just kept on working. And when I looked up I was really dizzy and realized I must be really dehydrated. I drank 24 oz of water fast and then that made my tummy hurt lol. I went in the house and sat down in under the fan and went to sleep for about an hour lol. Well that wasn't how I wanted to get work done. Anyway after that I worked for a few minutes and then sat in the shade for a few drinking water. So lesson learned. Even tho the sun and heat doesn't affect us like it use to. It can dry us out pretty fast. Everyone needs to realize that we need to stay very hydrated now. I did get a lot of weeds out of the garden and a lot of things planted. Hope it rains tonight or tomorrow to water these things. My Iris are starting to really bloom pretty. They should be at peak in another week I would say. Hopefully the roses will start blooming about then too. My clematis are blooming really well , just wish the two of them would do so at the same time. Sherr: so good to hear you back to the old Sherr. Are you feeling better? WOW! I cant imagine being 9 pounds from goal. That is really good. You reached that fast didn't you? I know you were sick a lot too. Take care of your self and enjoy life. LANA: Such a shame to chop down a bush. lol. If you have your tomatoes in planters they will have to be watered more than normally anyway. I would think it would be better to water them enough once to where the water runs out of the pot from the bottom. Fertilize them once a week with miracle grow or what ever you like to use on your plants. Hopefully they will come out of it. They probably got root bound in the little pots and will take a while for the roots to start stretching out again. I too am worried about Sugar, She says now that all of the things that were going wrong before she had surgery must have been signs from God that he didn't want her to have the surgery. Howdy Everyone.... Haven't posted in a few days so I thought I would drop in and say Hi!!! I hope your all doing well.... Jan...How is Sugar doing? I sure hope she gets past all these problems soon and gets back on her feet...I hate that she is thinking she should have never gotten the surgery. Hopefully once she gets past this stuff and can finally enjoy loosing she wont feel that way so much... Janet....Had hoped I would see a post from you on how things went today...I hope you feel like posting tuesday so we will all know how your doing....Been wanting to call you but I know you have been pretty busy...But I been thinking about you and praying for you daily!! Mel....Been praying for you and your family as well....I know you have to be getting worn down dealing with all that is going on...When does your FIL go back to the doctor? Good Morning/Evening Everyone... I got started mowing early this morning, 7 acres takes awhile to mow! By the time I was done I had to take a nap!....lol I got a little burnt on my face and neck but I don't care, it just feels good to be back outdoors and doing things. I am trying to get everything done before Wednesday...my granddaughter will be here from Wednesday afternoon until Friday. My daughter has a new job and having issues with her babysitter and with her b/f....he says he doesn't babsit....(WHAT!?!). It ain't babysitting when there YOURKIDS!! Oh well...her life, let her live it. I won't babysit every week, just helping her out this one. Being able to get back outside and work like I am is very theraputic...physically and mentally! I'm not going to be stuck with grandkids the rest of the year because her b/f is a jerk! Sherr....good to see you back around. I have really been missing you! Thank you for your comments and I'm sorry you didn't get the new little one! Yes, the drama with Roy, Momma dog and puppies is a stressor but we all will get through it. I wanted to that you all for the Birthday wishes....they were all awesome! I don't think I have ever been told Happy Birthday, that many times in one day before...lol Melissa...girl take care of yourself first down there! What your going through is A LOT to be going through alone. If you get ran down, whos gonna take care of your FIL? Who's gonna take care of you? See if someone from your Church can help if you don't have a Home Health Care place anywhere close. In some areas there are businesses that work kinda like Mommy's Day Out but instead it's Caregiver's Day Off....your FIL can stay there for awhile and you can get caught up on your sleep, run errands, what every you want or need to do. Take care girl....we love you and we don't want or need to see you sick again! Especially with that tummy tuck coming up! Sugar...I know you have got to be feeling down but just try to remember to keep your eyes on the prize! Your going through all this now but look at it this way....at least your getting it all done now and won't have to worry about it later! You'll already have it all done and taken care of....so, when the weight comes off, you'll be free to fly! Honey, I will keep you in my prayers and you Keep God in Your Heart!! There have been many things posted over the last couple of days but I'm so tired right now, I can't remember them all. I will try again in the morning! Good Morning Jan and OH Family, I know its been awhile (seems like forever) since I have been in here to post-I hate to say this time-I havent had the time to get on here, and I hate that~~There just has been so many things going on~ ARGH....I do get in real quick and read prayer or put one in and thats about it~! Okay-let me think here-Went to my ortho appt yesterday-had to go to the hospital first and get MRI results-which I had called them last Weds so they would be ready when I got there-nope-werent ready!! THEN......I ran 10 minutes late to my appt, but I clld ahead of time-after sitting in the waiting area for an hour-with a 4 year old that was bored out of his little mind-I asked how much longer and if I had 10 minutes to run down the road and drop his off with his aunt-she said yes-I actually had 1/2 hour on top of the hour-LOL...I went and dropped Jon off with Aunt Mel, and returned for my torture-I mean, doctor appt. Bad news, Good news. Good news-he thinks the spinals helped a bit since the 2nd one didnt hurt as bad as the first....goodie goodie gumdrops I get ANOTHER spinal next Weds....I had a couple ribs AND vertebrae out of place AGAIN...he seems to think that the weight of my lose skin (apron) may be pulling me forward and so he says to come in every 2 weeks and he will adjust me-free of charge (that breaks my heart-LOL-Dr. McDreamy!!!)The ONLY thing of great concern right now are 2 cysts on my spine. He says they need to go! I am faxing a copy of the MRI report to my bariatric surgeon for her to reviiew and go from there. I have 4 disingrated discs-(I knew that one already) then I have 2 herniated discs (probably from overcompensating for the ones that are gone) and 2 cysts that are liquid filled=??????dunno what thats all about? The good news is I can put off surgery depending on IF I can handle it-go in for my adjustments and etc. We may be able to just have the cysts aspirated-sounds like a party to me-LOL LOL....so-with that-got my 2 cortisone shots....I was miserable! Funny story-had brought Jon some blueberry pop tarts to eat on the way to the dr. appt since we had to leave my house right before 8 am-no big deal-done it a lot before. Now-we get to the ortho office and I see he has only eaten one pop tart and the other is on the seat-I tell him to get that picked up and puit back in the package-not really watching him pick it up or where he put it-soooo......I go in-yadi yadi-get done with my appt-go pick him up at Mels-go to wal mart to get some pull ups and soap etc-and when I go to get back in the car-I lift my leg to get in-and something falls on the pavement-I look down-and IT WAS A CHUNK OF POP TART!!! How long was that stuck on my butt? was there pop tart on the doctors chairs? at mels? Holy crap!! Then, I did something stupid-and grabbed my butt (I can do that now, thank god!) and sure enough, blueberry remains-all over my butt/crotch area!! Now my fingers are sticky and all-well, I had just bought wipes-so I go to the back of the car, open them and I am standing by my door of the car-trying to wipe my crack of my pants etc with the wipes, my hands and my seat-Jon is in his chair asking if I pooped my pants-OOOHHHHH SON-you DID NOT! Ok-get home, unload car-take some pain meds because I am suppose to go back to Mels and take the knee brace to her (she is REALLY hurt her knee-her knee cap-well, its on the inside of her leg, NOT where its suppose to be) so-you have gimpy there (Mel) hop along (Terry) and Bob there-between the 3 of them right now-it doesnt make a full person.......Well, I go in the livingroom with jon-lay on the couch next to him, he falls asleep-and so do I....WOW...It sure felt good to get in a nap. The weather is changing, but my knees and upper back dont hurt this morning, its just my lower back-but the pain is NO WHERE what it used to be - thank you God, and my OH Family for prayer! Then this morning-wake up and Aunt Flo visited me another week early-what the hell is going on with that crap? Every 3 weeks now? This time there was NO notice at all, I usually will get the cramps or lower back hurting-but since that pretty much hurts all the time now, cant distinguish the 2 different hurts anymore....AND, of course-my daughters think moms monthly supplies are for EVERYONE-so they have used all of my stuff from last month????? Now, I understand hiding car keys or money from your teens-but your tampons and pads? Does anyone else see the humor in that? Not me. I guess I should have known something was up because when Mike and I went to race on our track after they ate dinner-I broke the axle on my truck for the 4th time in a little over a week-and I started crying~ Mike felt so bad for me, that he stopped racing and fixed it right then and there-even though it was going to be dark in a minute. (what a baby I am when its that time of the month-LOL) I didnt get to plant ANY of the stuff we have here. We went to Home Depot on Sunday and Mike bought Jon and I anything flower or plant wise we wanted. Ok-we bought 3 big flats of marigolds already grown, the yellow, the orange and tri colored. We bought morning glories, more marigolds, some sort of cardinal creeper or something like that-viney for around the pool area with the morning glories-they are all seeds-and we bought the little containers for the seeds-and I forgot the potting soil, so I got it yesterday, but didnt have the energy to do it-I did buy some of those decorative deals to put by the lilac bush and the pineapple plant Jan gave me and I tied Orange caution tape on the top so no one would run over it with the riding lawn mower. As we were leaving-I saw this, looked like a tree, but at the top-it was round, with NO branches or anything, just bush like at the top of the tree-and it looked like roses-it was probably 5 foot tall, told Mike I would LOVE to have something like that for Mothers Day-he offered to go back and buy it right then, but I said no. Jan-do I snip the top of the marigold flowers off when they get wilty/after they have bloomed to keep them blooming all summer? Just wondering-the lady I was TRYING to get info from at Home Depot-looked like I was confusing her-WHATEVER....maybe you should go inside and sell BBQs-she offered to get someone else to help me-but I said-No, I know someone who will have the answers...thanks tho. I bought 4 diff packets of morning glories-so we are going to mix them up a bit so each container has a little of each kind in it-that ought to look so good over on the fence by the pool! I am so excited-now IF I can just get that going! The 7 pots of Iris's I got-they have already bloomed and look like my tulips that never bloomed-so do I plant them right now? Or do I wait until next spring? Let me know-they are sitting in pots next to my garage right now. Thanks. Also-where is a good place to plant them? shade or sun? by other flowers? Well, also a little interesting fact here....We have pulled baby snakes off of our track already (GREAT!) and the lizards are THICK this year-so, I have seen 7 snakes already and about 20 lizards-and I have been here 3 years and up to now-have only seen one snake and a hand ful of lizards. My hubbys dog-the brown lab (pup still) catches lizards in his mouth and plays with them-grody!!! I made Mike mow a lot around the track so they wouldnt be in the tall grass by us-and I am putting moth balls around the laundry room and house-but not in the dogs pen-I dont want them eating them-and trust me-they eat anything. The older BIG dog plays with turtles-he carries them around in his mouth, the little one lizards and they both will go after bunnies or anything else that comes in their pen-even snakes. Well, I am going to get off here, I am going to check on Mel-I think she needs to see the doctor about her knee-and I need to take her since Terry cant drive and neither can dad. I also have an appt this afternoon that I have to go to-so I have some stuff to get done between now and then. My scale FINALLY started moving again-I am down 140#-I cant believe it-with the steroids and Aunt Flos visit-I am losing anyway!! YEAH! Oh-and Mel found out yesterday that Susan IS very sick-she has been going through a lot of testing at the hospital to try and find out whats wrong. They dont know-but someone had mentioned a blood clot-so please keep her in your prayers-along with our sweet Sugar. I am going to go and buy her another card today and send it-hoping to maybe cheer her up a bit-at least a smile-and to let her know we are STILL thinking and praying for her-poor gal-I know its depressing, and I pray for her each time I think about her-which is 100 times a day!! Tammy, yes, Chantes surgery is May 9th, and Krissys is this Weds, tomorrow-and I am going to call her today and check on her. I know she is probably a wreck. Hello Missouri, I'm sitting at my desk eating cottage cheese and SF applesauce and I just dropped a baby spoonful of cottage cheese in the pocket of my shirt. Can you say klutz? Yesterday I was so busy I met myself coming and going until 3pm when my boss left for a meeting. Then I had time to breathe. This is a busy time at a university - end of term, finals, etc. I came home from work, fixed a salad for DH and me and hamburger for him and sloppy Joe for me (no bun of course). Then I went to WalMart for celery and ended up spending $65.00. I love/hate that place. I always find things I think I need!!! Did find a bra that fits well and was lots cheaper than the original one I was fitted for at Dillards last week. Got some nail polish and foundation which I never wear. I'm having a manicure/pedicure this Saturday in preparation for the big event at my old school on the 11th & 12th. And I decided to try that mineral-type brushed on foundation. Anyone have any hints about using that stuff. I am so bad with face makeup. I can do eyes but have never really worn foundation and I think it looks so nice. HELP!!! I need all the expertise I can get. I just love knowing all of you and being able to ask questions about flowers, food, makeup, anything I need help with. I hope to be a good friend to all of you too so if you have any questions I can help with, fire away. Incidentally, my hair, which was always almost not there is falling out in massive amounts. I'm not worried about that since I always wear wigs but just wanted to report that it is happening to me too. And I'm faithful about Vitamins, Calcium and B-12 and B-complex. Good Morning Everyone: Just wanted to post and say Yes, I am alive but not kicking!!!! Long story short. Friday was at Wal Mart & hyper extended my right knee. Needless to say by Monday it is swollen and I cant apply any pressure on it what so ever. Figured I had my Dr. appt today so I would see him while I was there for bloodwork and save me a trip to the ER. Well it didnt turn out that way. Last night I was asleep in my car (dont remember what I was dreaming but I moved my leg) and woke screaming out of a dead sleep. Pain shot thro my entire knee. Terry took my to MBH sat there for 2 hours and found out that their was still 6 people in the back waiting to be seen and 3 ahead of us in the lobby. So Terry loaded me up in the car. Stopped by the house got something to drink and a pain pill and headed to Joplin. Was pretty much in and out in a little over 2 hours. They told me I have to get in to an Ortho doc ASAP!! X-rays didnt show anything broken. So they told me that either my regualr PCP or Ortho needs to order an MRI to see the extent of the damage I did to my knee. Terry wasnt too happy about what they didnt do. Told them that it was the stupidest thing he has ever heard of is not to be able to do the MRI while they had me sitten right there. Their reply was that was something that my PCP or Ortho will need to order. Terry said you mean to tell me you dont have an Ortho on call or her PCP isnt on call?? Like I said he wasnt a very happy camper. Anyho got home orund 3am gt something to drink and crashed. Woke up this morning got an appt with my PCP so he can order the MRI and do the bloodwork. I am going to ask if I can go to the Ortho here in Carthage. So that is what has been happening in my part of the world. lol I pray everyone is doing great and that you have all been enjoying this beatiful weather that we have been having!!!! God Bless Mel

Hi all, I am home today due to my husband being sick again. Has Uppr Respitatory (cold, and cough). He sure getseverything. But he started pulling the falling again last nite( almost like he is having TIA's and balance is gone. So I quick called the pcp this am and got him a Zpack and I got him some gator aide as I suspect his electrolytes are out of balance. So he is in bed dozing right now. I got about 2 hours sleep last nite but just cant seem to sleep now. So I am on here and doing somethings around the house. Last wed nite I was in an auto accident coming home from Warrensburg. Actually I kissed a Fed Ex truck. It was raining and blowing and I was coming off the ramp and merging into I 70(but I was at bottom of ramp) and the truck was over on the right side on white line. I did not feel him hit me and he did not know he hit me until my bumper went flying and the cover over my left fron tire and side mirrow whent flying. We waited forthe highway patrol and no one got a citation or anything. My car is in the repair shop now. Thank God I was not hurt nor my husband nor the other driver. Another truck had same kind of accident 20 minutes after me. So I am driving a rental now. Well got to go and check on hubby. Take care and God Bless. Colette
