Prayer Request

I posted this the other day but since I posted it so late in the day on the prayer request post I'm not sure if anyone saw it so I thought I would post it again. I would greatly appreciate your prayers. Hello everyone. I know I've been more of a lurker lately than an active member but I know you all believe in the power of prayer just like I do. I try to keep up on your prayer requests as I am a daily reader even though I am not a daily poster. A very good friend of mine named Lloyd found out on Friday that his Mom has bone cancer. He is getting ready to travel from his home in SD back to his parents' home in PA. If everyone could please pray for Lloyd's mom and for Lloyd I would greatly appreciate it. He is very special to me and it kills me that he hurts so much. I know personally what God is capable of as I have had both an aunt and an uncle that have survived cancer. Dear Deanna, I did not see the previous post-so I am glad you posted again. I am lifting Lloyd, his mother, his whole family and you-in prayer as I type this-and I will continue to lift you in prayer. God is gracious and I know there can be miracles!! Thank you all so very much. I know it means a lot to me and to Lloyd. So far he doesn't know a whole lot but hopes to get some answers soon. Jan - as for me, I am doing great. Right now I'm not able to work out because of healing from the hernia surgery (still have 3 more weeks to wait) but somehow am still managing to lose weight. I weighed in yesterday and have managed to lose another 5 pounds, so that's a total of 205 pounds in a little over a year. I am all the way down to 254!!! Only 4 more pounds and I actually get to move the big weight over from the 250 mark to the 200 mark!!!!!! I can not wait. I am actually beginning to believe that I may see that 199 pounds yet. It helps that Lloyd stands behind me and supports me all the way. He knows my complete history, sagging skin and all. lol He has given me hope in men again. Cody is doing great. He is in baseball season right now and doing great at it this year. I'm very proud of him. Again, thank you all for your prayers. I knew I could count on you all!!!! Deanna
