K.C. Metro Support Group

Just a reminder that our group will meet on May 21st this month at 7:00 p.m. We will meet at Baptist Mission Center, 4001 N>E> Lakewood Wa, 291 and Woods Chapel Road, Lees Summitt 64064. Please plan to attend- we are meeting one week earlier due to Memorial Day the following week. We are a non-hospital, non-physician based support group which was formed to give support to all post-op, pre-op and persons interested in attending our group. Also family members or interested people are invited. We have an open forum so no question is off track. We have people in our group who have lost 100# plus and 165# plus. Any topic is open for discussion. Please remember to bring your pictures if you have some. Just a good tip to all the pre op people. Before surgery please take a picture, and take a picture every 2 weeks of your journey. You will be surprised the changes that will be seen. My youngest daughter bought me a throw away camera, an album and took pictures the first and sencond day of surgery and I have kept them in an album with frequent pictures the past year. I saw the meeting on the 21st, I check map quest last month and got lost when I tried to find it, so make sure the directions are correct. I just tried a goggle search, still no luck. It would be great to meet if I could find it? Can you help with posting more specific directions? Thanks GoodSpeed, Susan
