Please pray for our "Big girl" Ginger - beloved pet!
Hi,
We took our big dog, Ginger, into the vet early this morning. She started having breathing problems day before yesterday. The vet says one of her lungs is collasped and she may be in congestive heart failure. She is about 9 1/2 years old and has been a wonderful dog. It's hard on all of us. Especially my boys. We had to leave her at the vet. He gave her a couple shots to, hopefully, help her to breathe better. He is going to take an x-ray of her lungs. Could be some type of hernia or could be a tumor. He wanted to know if she had been hit by a car and we said no, she is in our fenced in yard except at night when we let her in because she is older.
I posted earlier this week, it's been a hard one, my husband after 18 years on the job, is being changed from salaried to hourly and from an inside office job to the lumber yard. He is still recovering from a staff infection in his elbow and last night his knees were so swollen he had a hard time walking. Thankfully, the knees are okay today. I haven't worked in 12 years and may have to go back. Then you add this problem with our beloved pet Ginger and it has been a very hard week. Please pray for all of us.
Thanks guys, it is so great to know that I can post and all you prayer warriors will pray. I pray for each person I see posted on the prayer list every day. I know our Heavenly Father is in control and I am so thankful for that!
Take Care,
Debbie D.
Debbie know that i am holding you up before God . It is a shame the way places of employment have no loyality toward their workers that have been with them for a long time. It is as if they want all of them to quit after a few years so they can hire young people for half the wages.
I know you are grief stricken about Ginger and I willpray that you and your boys be comforted . We will all be praying for you , your husband and your beloved pet. Jan
Hi, Jan:
Thank you for praying for Ginger. The medicine is working! We were able to bring her home yesterday. She is even getting up and down the stairs to our upper deck and she's barking! We are soooooo glad to have her home. She's on lassax (sp?), it's a water pill to keep the fluids off her lungs. I have to take her back next week before the medicine is gone to see if she will need to be kept on the meds. Thankfully, the medicine will only cost around $30.
Please continue to pray for my hubby. We started sending out his resume last week. I truly believe the Lord has something better in store for him!

Debbie I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. I know how it is to love a pet---I don't have children but my dog is my baby. I've had her since she was born and love her like she's my child. I hope all goes well with your hubby---people just aren't appreciated anymore---but you should be proud that you have a dedicated hubby who is hardworking!!! :D:D He sounds like a great man!!! Keep your head up!!! I'll be praying for you!
Always,
~Angie!
Hi, Angie:
Thank you so much for praying for Ginger! She is better and we were able to bring her home yesterday. We are praising the Lord.
Please continue to pray for my hubby's job. We are sending out his resume almost everday. We are trusting the Lord has something better in store for him.
Wanted to say "Welcome" to the Missouri Board. You will not find a better group of people who are on the message board! They are supportive and helpful every step of the way. I had my surgery on March 5th with Dr. Hornbostel. He is a wonderful surgeon. Who is your doctor?
Take care,
Debbie D.
YAYYYYYYYYY!!! I'm so glad she got to come home. How is she??? I am still praying for your hubby's new job. :D Thanks for the welcome!! My doc is Dr. Hornbostel---he's awesome---I can't want to get my initial counseltation with him---I know he's scheduling appoints in september as we speak so hopefully by then I'll be a leaner meaner me!!! I am hoping to lose 80 lbs by then---wish me luck!!! I need to lose it so I can meet the weight limit. Hope to talk to you soon!!! Take Care!

Dolly Debbie D,
Please know that I'm praying for you, your husband, Ginger and your boys. I love all animals and know how hard it is when one is sick or injured. Please let us know how all of you are doing. If you have to go back to work, good luck in finding the exact perfect job God has in mind for you.
Hugs,
Lana
Lana:
Thank you for praying for our family! Ginger is doing better, we were able to bring her home yesterday. She is still on medication to keep the water out of her lungs. She is even able to walk up and down the stairs to our upper deck. She's also barking which a good sign! My boys were soooooo glad to go with me yesterday morning to pick her up. I even let them stay home yesterday to help take care of her.
My husband is still looking for a new job, so please continue to keep him in your prayers. We are believing the Lord has a better job for him out there and in His time it will be there.
Take care,
Debbie D.
P.S. Everytime you call me Dolly Debbie D. it brings a smile to my face. Just had to share that with you!
