~~Just talked to Chante-got info on complication~~

Dear Board, Chante just called me-said that while she was in recovery-she told nurse that she was feeling nauseated-they went to get something for her-and she started to vomit up blood. They called her surgeon AND Dr. Scott-and by the time she went back into surgery, she had thrown up blood 3 times-her blood pressure sky rocketed and they put a nitroglycerin patch on her. They found out that when she had surgery, that a staple busted through a blood vessel-and was filling up her pouch-causing her to vomit. She sounded like she was doing good now-but she will not be getting her leak test today-has to wait until tomorrow. Janet Thanks so much for the update. Please tell her when you talk to her that wasnt it enough that she got our attetion when she joined the Loser's Bench. Did she has to jump start our heart like that?? Let her know we are all thinking of her and wishing her a speedy recovery. Love ya Mel

Wow what a tough start for, Chante! I'm very happy to hear that they know what is going on with her and can/are doing something about it. I will send lots of positive vibes that things get better for her... Thanks for keeping us posted

Oh Janet, Thanks so much for the update and please tell her we are pulling for her quick recovery. She will get a standing ovation when she is out and back on the board. Please give her a huge hug for me! Charlotte
