Any one going or gone to the University of MO, Columbia???

I have my pre-op class on the 21st. Any one going to this class?? I wonder how long it will be tell they give me a date?? Ohh I can not wait for the long wait to be over. I have been putting off a vacation from work for so long to save my PTO. Ohh boy do I need a vacation. I can't wait to spend it having my surgery. Any insight you may have to Missouri Bariatric Services please share!

Hi Erin I had my surgery through MO Bariatrics with Dr. Fearing at the Universtity~I actually had my date before I attended the class-it was the last thing for me besides, of course, the pre-op stuff at the hospital. I would say that as soon as your done with the class-that you should have your date-if thats your last step before surgery. I LOVED my surgeon and to this date-still have NO COMPLAINTS about her-and the hospital was great except for ONE crabby nurse-but I told her what I thought of her and she never entered my sights again...LOL LOL-the rest of my stay was okay-I just got stuck in the hospital an extra day because the hospital got put on lock down when we got that horrible ice storm on Dec 2-3....thats it. I would do it all over again and keep us posted-I will be thinking about you and praying for your date to be soon~ ALL my love-Janet

Well i got my date sooner then I thought I would. They had to call me to reschadual my pre op class so they schadualed all my other pre op apt for the same date as my class and schadualed me for surgery so I got a date!! Thanks so much everyone!
