I went BLONDE!!!!!

Well, being the only blonde on here,   I REALLY LIKE IT!!  I have some pics on my profile that shows that I recently went back to LIIIIIGGGHHHTTTT  BLONDE :)   Which I  have not been this light in years, but I don't have to look "corporate" anymore :D WOOT WOOT...so I can do what I want. Last year around this time I went DARK CHOCOLATE....it was right before I had made the life changing choice to check into WLS.   I have gone brown one other time, after the terrible break up that ended me dating....in 1996!  And just like back then, my hair always turns itself BACK to blonde..... Like it's a sign.  People that are not used to seeing you blonde are going to have an adjustment period.   You may decide it is just not for you, but "wear" it and then decide.  :) Blondie

Tami, You are so fortunate that your complextion can compliment just about any color. The blonde REALLY  looks mahhhhhhhhvelous darling.  I think it does you well.  Your face looks so much brighter, happier and younger!  Good for you!     Go Tami, Go Tami! Hugzzz   Charlotte

Well from one new blonde to another, I love it!!!  I am glad I went blonde as well....don't plan on going back to dark hair any time soon!! Connie

Connie, I think yours looks GREAT too!!!! I didn't know you went blonde!!! Maybe sometime you'll be able to make it to COF support group. Haven't seen you in a long time!!! I have a feeling as soon as my roots grow out Ill be going back to brown or darker than I am at least. : ) Tami

I'm HOPING to make it to COF in June.  We'll see.  I'm going to start a part-time job, but am going to try to NOT work Mondays so I can be there. Yeah, the roots thing is a pain.  But basically I've got a LOT of blonde highlights over a couple of darker shades.  I'm thinking I'll get some dark streaks added to the blonde so the dark roots aren't as obvious.  I can't go back to dark as I just can't keep up with all of the grey!!!  It's MUCH easier to blend the grey in to the blodne!!! Hi Tami! I think you should do whatever you want with your hair!  You look great! I had to chuckle a little bit though when I first saw the header for your post, because of all the talking my husband and I have done in preparation for my going ahead with surgery, that is the only stipulation he has put on it. He(Chuck) has asked me to promise him that I will not go blonde when all is said and done.  I have promised.

How funny that he'd request that!!! We'd never talked about it but I'd always wanted to try it. Today I actually felt pretty good with it.....soooooo who knows.....it may stick around for awhile!!! Thanks!!!!
