WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

I pulled weeds most of the day today. I really figured out that it is sort of therapeutic for me to do that. All bent over concentrating on the weeds in front of me. I have plenty of time to think and to talk to God. We have some pretty good conversations that way.

Lots of people posting, lots of things going on.

 

We will be having company tomorrow with my granddaughter and her baby boy. And my daughter. Will be fun I think since another granddaughter and her babies live here . so we will have some good pictures I hope . maybe I will get my daughter to take a good picture of me and my 3 great grandbabies. Cant believe I have 3 of them already. Seemed like they just all of a sudden happened lol.

 

COLETTE: Yeah it would be hard to live on just social security unless you had no bills. It would be enough to pay the elect bill and all and by groceries but that is about all.

 

Im glad that Mel is doing ok. And not having any problems right now.

 

I know you really do enjoy your children when they come up to visit don’t you?

But just makes it harder when they leave doesn’t it?

  

CONNIE: So you went camping last week end? Was the weather nice for you where you where? Glad you caught some fish anyway.

 

If you get any more blooms out of the lilac let me know that will be a first. Most everyones peonies didn’t do much at all this year.

Im telling you those puppies it is a wonder they don’t all die , some of the things that they eat.

  

JANET: so glad that Tammy finally had her surgery. I was beginning to think that they weren’t going to do it today. I bet she was too.

 

Sorry about not remembering the story on the suburban. My memory seems like I hear so much anymore that I cant remember much at all lol

 

Did you get your husband into see the doctor today? Im so sorry about him falling like he is. Is he losing that much muscle control or is it strictly bones buckling? That is sort of scary for someone that young.

 

Had to laugh at the visual about you jumping into the pool and getting out real quick because of the cold. Lol

 

So did you get your new phone ? hope you like it.

  

SUSAN: boy it seems like everyone is having computer problems . At least yours is fixable or I guess it is?  Thank God you have one at your work.

Sherr the spot on your leg could be just a muscle pull or something as simply as that.

Don’t borrow trouble until you find out there is something to worry about.

 

That is why I refuse to worry about the ultra sound for my rt. Breast . So they saw something it probably isnt anything .

 

Fitting bras is pretty easy. Measure under your boobs. Leave your bra on. Then add 2 inches to the number you get that is the size. Like 34 or 38

Then you measure from the bottom of the beast up to the nipple area. 1-A, 2-B, 3=C

4=D, 5 =DD so forth and so on.

Momma Jan & Crew: Your advice as alway**** the spot! My own mother said the same thing....."If you don't have anything wrong, you'll find something"...LOL I tell her about you all the time.....she had the shots in her knees and they really didn't help at all....I fee so helpless for her.   I think for me, having had a tumor once, I will always worry that when I feel something or the doctor finds something new on a CAT/MRI I will always freak.   Now tell me about this Rt. Breast situation....HOW did I let this slip thru?  When will you know the results?  Oh YOU BETTER tell us as soon as you know okay?  Just so I understand, there couldn't be a "hernia" way down in the crease of your thigh and pelvic area anyway could there?   I think I will think it's a pulled muscle and stick to that...LOL Thank you for telling me about the way to fit bras....I think I need to try some on now.  Please keep me posted!! Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ I am starting to believe June is going to be as crazy as May was here-ARGH....Yesterday was just one of those days where you think-WHY did I even get out of bed this morning? Nothing went right-and its not looking like theres much of an end in sight.  I didnt get the phone. We are suppose to go this morning. Megs hours didnt coorespond with my dads-and he has the Sams card, so have to wait for him to go....My teen daughter was about as hateful as they come yesterday-really bad day with her. I wouldnt let her have her phone back-and that wasnt what she wanted to hear-so she was awful the rest of the afternoon. Her dad called-told him he needed to get his rear in gear at finding a place where she can be with him-he did have a long talk with her, but then so did Mel-and Im not sure any of it did any good. I felt blah and emotionally drained most of the day! My mom FINALLY got her consult with her surgeon scheduled-for Hune 18th. He is a good Dr.-I worked with him a lot and with a lot of patients who had him-and never heard or had any complaints-so I feel good that she is in good hands. Thats the same day Susan has her surgery too-I also have my appt in Columbia and Mels surgery too-plus a wedding to finish getting planned and have the sale-Lord, just give me strength! I was so happy to finally get that phone call from Joe-I was starting to fall asleep while I was watching BIG medicine and my phone rang about 6 times, none were Tammy, so I didnt pick up in case my call waiting didnt work-I didnt want to miss the call. That was a huge sigh of relief. Joe didnt know why they were putting her in ICU the rest of that evening and he hadnt seen her yet. So, I will be talking to her some time today, Im sure and will post as I know more info. I called Mel and then Susan, since neither have been on the computer much to give them the word (well, Mel is co-angel-LOL and Susans computer is down) I was talking to them while I posted about Tammy, then I went to bed-I was so tired.  I woke up with a migraine, think I kinked my neck in my sleep! Jan-no, hubby didnt get in to see the dr yesterday-I am hoping they will just do the lab work and we can go from there. He is so stubborn, but I was pretty bossy last night when I told him what he was going to do-and not what he wanted to do-LOL...I WILL WIN this one~~ We finally got the levels where they were suppose to be in the pool-so IF it stays nice, we will more than likely get in later on today....will have to see. Have had Oscar going 2 days straight to see if it doesnt help get all the dead bugs etc out-the skimmer net ripped and so I tried to get one at Walmart and then Target, but couldnt find one- Mikes mom said she took it to fix it and will bring it back up-so I am glad I didnt spend the money (we dont have right now-LOL) to get another one! **Jan-I hope you have a good day with the grandbabies and daughter. Post the picture when you can-would love to see it- **Sherr-If that lump doesnt go away, please go have it checked out-you would make sure and get it taken care of, if it were for someone you loved-so love yourself and get it checked out!! **Susan-I got your letter last night in the mail-you made me cry!! Thank you, BUT-I love ya and you dont owe me anything-thats what friends do for each other!! Be safe going to Columbia today and give our girl a hug from me-ok? Wish I could go up there myself to see her-and you too, when you go! Well, I am finishing up my shake and vitamins and I have a lot of chores etc to wrap up before going to town to get some errands run and get the phone, so I am going to get off here and I will post when I hear from Tammy. Good Morning Missouri Board People,

I haven't posted on for a couple days . After I said I would try to post everyday.

Saturday we had a family reunion on my Daddy's side, which I was gone from home all day for.

Sunday of course we had church. Yesterday we went to visit the graveyard where my husbands folks are buried. We didn't get to it on Memorial weekend. We have so many graves to visit anymore, and they are all so far from each other that we can't get to all of them in one day. So we were gone all day yesterday.

I'm glad for Tammy that she finally got her surgery done. It must have been really hard waiting till the end of the day!!

Well I'm gonna start some laundry and get to some house work.

Good Morning OH family, Just a quick note to say hello and let you all know I will be leaving for Columbia this afternoon, (see my post "Tammy-ammy"), to see Tammy today in the hospital and spend the night to be there for appointments with Dr. Scott, Kilgores, and last of the blood work before surgery.  yeaaaaaaaaa Im almost there!!   Jan Thanks for the Bra Measuring instructions, I never knew how to measure the right way.  This will really help me exp. after surgery.  I also had a question about the pineapple sage plant!   NO LAUGHING NOW!!!!  (okay maybe a little,LOL)   I want to try to use mircle grow on my plant (this is a first, never used it before)  there are two different kinds of mircle grow one for plants and one for veg. and fruit.  Which one do I use.  Thanks. Hello Missouri, Crazy at work today and my co-worker took the afternoon off so it's just me and my boss.  It's a good day though because my boss has been the Acting Department Head for two years and today it was announced that she is the permanent Department Head.  I'm so happy because she is so great and is so good to me.  She has backed me 100% in my surgery and recovery.   Didn't want you all to think I'd forgotten you, just swamped.  I am thinking of you all and praying for you, those having surgery, those who've just had surgery and those waiting for approval along with all the others on here who have prayer needs. Hopefully, I'll get some time tomorrow to spend with all of you.  I miss you when I can't respond properly!!! Hugs, Lana

Good Evening Everyone:      Just popping in to say Howdy and I pray everyone is having a blessed day. Starting to get back to normal or as close to normal as I ever was. Went and cleaned the house today. Big mistake. (See pray request for Tuesday) Anyways looks like I will be have to behve for awhile. Bummer.    Things around here are going pretty good. Terry is getting around on his legs really good. Terry said that since his surgery he is hardly having any pain what so ever. PRAISE GOD!!!! Dad is doing alot better. He still has days where he will sleep all day and night long. But he isnt having the confusion and weakness like before. (Thank you Jesus)     I am still just me. Trying to get on with my life and looking foward to everything I wanna do this summer. And setting my mind for school this fall.     Your all in my thoughts and prayers!!! Love ya'll Mel
