**ONE WEEK POST OP APPT**

HEY GUYS... Went to my one week post-op appt....IT WAS GREAT!!!! Janet and Mel were setting there waiting on me when I got there!!!!! I knew they were coming but it was a surprise to see them setting there waiting on me when I went to open the door!!!!  They even went back with me to get my staples and drain out......Was pretty cool to have my angels back there to watch over me to make sure they done it all right !!!!! It was a resident or what ever they call them that done it all....He was soooo cool about it too!!!!! Answered all their questions while he done it and just talked away to us!   Any ways....things are 100% GREAT!!!! Cuts looked good and the drain came out fine and all......MY OTHER HIGH LITE OF THE DAY WAS....I HAVE NOW LOST A TOTAL OF 74 POUNDS!!!! 16 1/2 SINCE SURGERY!!!!!!  I would have ask Janet for one of her lil dances but her back was hurting her soooo bad!!!! But all was still good because who ever gets to take two angels in with them on their appts!!!!  My 3 week feel right in with the 4th so I told them to make it one month casue I was doing fine and I knew to call or come if anything was going on and I wouldn't wait for my appt to get it checked...So I don't go back for my one mont appt till July 12th!   Hummmmm wonder how much I can loose by then!!!!! Well gotta run for now...I have an appt to get my first B-12 shot....I think I am ready tooo....My butt is starting to feel like it's dragging.... Can not wait to for them to see how much I have lost...My pcp and the girls in the office have been sooo supportive with me on doing the surgery and are always so excited to hear whats going on....Makes you feel really good to have sooo many people supporting you and being excited for you..... That is awesome!  I don't have an angel. Don't really know what it is.... I bet it feels great to have that drain out. Those big hugs wont be so big soon. -Erin

Hi Erin, I would love to be your "angel"...I didnt know you were in need of one, or I  would have signed up sooner-LOL....I am also Susans angel...but she is my last for right now..Ok-an angel is someone who helps you out in the journey with any questions or concerns etc-AND-this is a biggie-they get called by whomever is at the hospital with you-so that we can post on the board how your surgery went and how you are doing-so I will email you my phone number-and then just please reply and let me know who will be calling me, ok? Im so sorry sweetie that this is last minute, but its ok now, right? Just like with Elisa-whoever said they would be her angel-she had her surgery on Weds and theres been nothing posted about how she is doing-so we are all wondering-this way, your person there will call me-and I can post-cause there is so many prayer warriors on this board, you will have so many people wondering how you are. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily and we all love you here!! Your my daughters age-so I am gonna "adopt" ya-LOL....Good luck and all my love, Janet
