I'm so excited.......

Hi OH Board,     I was reading all the messages about the six month diet and I got nervous ,so I called Faith my nurse from the centers of excellence and asked her about the weigh****chers,Jenny Craig etc. and the nutritionist and all that and she said I'm good. It's pretty much my pcp writing how I use the internet for help (OH Board,diets etc) and that we discussed diets, exercise etc. The exciting part is she said to go ahead and go to Dr. De La Torre's seminar and then call her after my 5th month diet appt. which is July 13th and she'll get me started on the consult,psych eval etc. I wasn't ready to get started all ready ,so I'm so hyped up right now!! I feel kinda bad for all the bad stuff going on for the others right now and I feel bad about being so excited, so I apologise to anyone who feels I'm selfish today in my excitement.     I remember someone saying if we needed to see a copy of a good pcp letter to let them know, so I'm letting anyone know!!    Thanks for letting me share my excitement!!  Connie

Connie, WOOHOO!!!  I'm so happy for you.  You have nothing to feel bad about, you're doing the six months which is what others will have to do in the future.  It is sad about people in the process who are getting worked over - so disappointing - but don't let that steal your joy.  You deserve to celebrate.
