*Update on Mel-from bad to worse*

Hello everyone, I just got home from the hospital-things went from bad to worse today. I do not have good news to report. She is having surgery tomorrow-she is going to have three surgeons operating on her. The GYN specialist-who is going to try to remove those masses without a total hysterectomy-he does not know if this is possible. There is a surgeon who will be removing a large portion of her bowel and intestines and then another who will be dealing with removing that huge abscess she has. They will be cutting her side to side-from what I understand. My mind is in a fog right now. They are giving her pain meds every 2 hours and yet, it doesnt seem to help her much~if at all. She is so emotionally and physically warn out from this pain and one of the surgeons did say that this is about as severe as it gets and that this surgery is very risky and very serious.

All I can do right now is to ask each and every one of you-to PLEASE KEEP HER IN PRAYER...if you have a prayer chain in your church, PLEASE add her to it-PLEASE.

Surgery is scheduled for 10 am, BUT-if all three surgeons get together before 10-they will take her early-as they said-they need to get in there and get this cleaned up or its going to be worse. I will contact someone to post for me after the surgery and we know something. Her whole family is coming up tomorrow and so I think it will be a very hectic day. Thanks for any prayers and thoughts. Mel is a very special person and I know everyone on this board will be lifting her, up in prayer today. Janet, I know as close as you two are, this is really hurting you as well.  I'll be praying for you today as well.  

Janet...So glad you posted for us to know what is going on. I defintily will be praying for Mel, her family and you as well.....Please tell her I love her and I will be praying for guidence for her surgeons, for a possitive out come on her surgery, her pain to go away, her mind to be at ease, and a speedy recovery.... Janet,  I got on this AM to check on Mel.  Not good news.  I will be lifting her up in prayer along with Terry and you.  She's a fighter but this is huge!!!  Everyone, please be in prayer all day for her. Love you so much, Lana

We are all going to claim this in the name of Jesus that he finds comfort and healing for Melissa. Mellisa as been an inspiration to us all. We all need to come in one accord and except this as postitive prayer. If 2 or more shall gather and ask upon him , it shall be done in his name.
