Erin N. - prayers please!

Hi, Erin N. just called me to let me know she is in horrible pain and they believe she may have a hernia at her drain site.  She has an appointment in Columbia this Friday.  She said she may not be able to wait until Friday and may end up at the ER in Columbia.  She spent yesterday at the ER in Topeka.  Please pray for her healing.  She said she's not sure when she'll be able to get on the board but wanted everyone to know what's going on.  She is suppose to keep me posted so I can keep you all updated. Thank you for your prayers.  She is such a sweet person and I hate to hear she's in so much pain.  Does anyone know why some doctors do drains and others don't?  I had Dr. Hornbostel and he doesn't do any drains.  Just wondering..... I spent all yesturday in the ER here in Topeka. My surgeon sent me there. They couldn't find any thing with a CT scan.  All my blood work was good too. Sent me home on pain meds and an antibiotix. Which isn't helping the pain.  My pain is all in my left side above my largest insicion and began a day after getting my drain out. It isn't getting worse but isn't getting better.  I will go to Columbia on Friday  to my surgeons clinic unless it gets worse. Then I will go to the ER in Columbia sooner. I have to keep constant preasure on my left side so this is all a right handed post.  They are thinking a hernia buy nothing that need emediate attention since nothing was detected on the CT scan.  They my have to oppen me up again and explore. I am scarred but I know God is with me.  Could someone please post this on the 20s board? Please pray for me!!

Erin honey, I'm so sorry this is happening to you.  You're doing the right thing, get to your doctor as soon as you can.  I know it's awful now but God is with you and we are all praying for you and soon you'll be better than new.  Tight hugs and loveys to you. Lana
