Hi!! My name is Roxanne and Dr. Hornbostel will be doing my RNY surgery July 24, 2007.

Hi Roxanne....I am Robyn and also new around here.  I dont have a surgeon or a date of any kind, I am currently trying to lose one more time on my own, before I commit to having surgery.  Welcome, you will love it here, everyone is SOOOOOOOOOOOO nice.

Hi Roxanne!  Welcome to our group.  I'm hoping to have surgery in the next 2-3 months.  If you have any questions, this group can answer your questions.  As far as support, they are awesome! Good luck!

Hello Roxanne. You have a great doctor he was mine too and one of the best you can find.  WE have some awesome people on the Missouri board so come on in and sit a spell . If we can be any help whatso ever we would love to help. Your surgery is right away and there will be a lot o questions later that you encounter so ask and we will try to help . Jan

Thank you for the warm welcomes.  I'm sure I will have lots of questions.  My surgery date is approaching so fast.  I have taken a couple of weeks off work starting the 14th of July.  We had a family camping trip planned July 18th thru 22nd before I got my surgery date. I didn't want to cancel that because my son and his wife had already ask off work.  With my surgery being the 24th and me returning to work on the 30th, I am praying for an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery.  

Heya Roxanne!  Welcome to our group!!  I promise you that you won't find a more loving and caring support group than here....everyone is just awesome!  They've answered all my silly questions along the way and more!! Congrats on your journey and Good luck!  Your surgery is just one week and one day after mine!  Mine is July 16 in Arkansas with Dr Baker....
