What's a girl to do?

I was wondering what to do when the Psychologist asks to see him 3 more times, after you've already seen him 3 times? Should my husband worry? LOL!!!!! All kidding aside, he says I am a good candidate for the surgery and he will aprove me, but I will have to see him, the 3 times. Then when I call to have them scheduled, he has no time AT ALL in July, so that puts me into the end of August. What a disappointment!!!! I have heard they are backed up so I wonder if this is a stall? Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Cindy....I guess different Psycologists have different requirements...I only had to see the one I seen, just the one time.... But those types of doctors usually are busy so you might want to call and make your 3 appts for as soon as you can get them so you wont be too strung out over time.  Hang in there, it wont be not time and you will be getting a date set for surgery!!!! Hey Tammy-Girl, It's good to hear from you again! how are you doing ? I would hope you are well, and healing well. I noticed on your profile you are nanna to Christa, I am also a grandma, to a Krista. She is now 9, and has a sister, Kendra, 6. They are the loves of my life, and so much fun. If I can ever figure out how to put pictures up I will.  I am getting so frustrated with all the hoops you have to go through,but will continue on. Please pray  that I can have patience. Hey Cindy! I only had to see a Psychologist once but I had to wait almost SIX weeks for him to finish his report and fax it to my surgeons office!! So far that has been my ONLY headache during this whole process.

 Hi Amanda, nice to meet you. What ever could delay a report 6 weeks? I have been wondering if there are so many people interested in this surgery, that they don't know what to do with all of us. Heya Cindy-- Six weeks later and I thoguht I was crazy. Turns out I'm sane and it's just that my Dr. likes to take a alot of vacations. I'm pre op, on a six month diet and I have my consultation appointment Oct 24th. If all goes well-- I'm hoping to have surgery Dec 07/Jan 08. But I'm prepared that something might come up and delay that. My surgeons is Dr. Hornbostel in Sedalia, Missouri.
