yes I am finally home! sorry I didnt post here before now but only limited computer time at the moment due to stitches and the drain....and still tired. I had surgery on Wed 27th on friday I was told my gran had fallen and broke her hip and after her surgery she had suffered a stroke....this was a major set back for me as I had an emotional meltdown knowing I may never see her again and could do NOTHING about it. since I live so far away from the Dr. it was a requirement that I stay in LR for a few days...I think that he made me stay a tad longer than needed to make sure I would take care of myself and not rush up to KC/Liberty and see my gran...who is doing better for now.  so now I am home and very happy about it. I also found out that I am to be a gran again since my consult on may 27th I hjave lost a total29lbs and 2 inches off of my hiney. I look forward to having the drain out so I can start excersizing in my pool. I was glad to see that finally Mel was able to get some help and hopefully is making a complete recovery at this time.  anyone know which hospital she is in?

Mel is hope already and having to go back and forth daily to have antibotic therapy done. She is still weak but recovering. I think she thinks she will live now. The pray line has been bein burned up to heaven for all the people that have been having surgeries and being sick and in pain.  We are so so glad that you are ok and doing well. Did you have lap RNY or OPEN. Take care of yourself and rest when your body is telling you too. Drink lots of fluid and try to get your protein in.  Jan

we are really glad you are back and hope to see you at the next COF meeting. Maybe Melissa will be well enough by then and you too so you all can get there. It will be on the 23rd so you have a date to shoot for. Janet didnt get to come last month because Melissa was so sick and could go and Janets big ole truck cost too much in gas to drive there. So hopefully things will work out for you all this month.  Hi to you too. Jan
