Hello Missouri,
I've been so danged busy at work I haven't had time to breathe. Today a co-worker called me as she was leaving school and said there is a little tiny kitten behind the athletic building and it needs help. Well, you all know me and animals - I was frantic. Couldn't catch it, looks to be about 3 months old, but did manage to get some canned food and some replacement kitten milk (bless another teacher's heart) and got it something to eat. Someone else had put a cup of water out for it. I don't know what I'm going to do for it tomorrow but today wasn't too hot and so I just made sure it had food and came on home. I can't have it - DH would murder me - but I'll find someone or take it to the humane society. I'd rather they kill it than see it starve.
So, I'm kinda down tonight - know I won't sleep too well. I shouldn't be such a softie but I just can't help it.
I had my six months check up with Dr. Edwards today. He's so wonderful. He told me he wants me to lose another 20 pounds - see I told you guys!!! He said I could plan on plastics when I get that off, but not before next December, my one year anniversary. I may have to wait longer than that because it isn't just falling off like at first. That's OK, I know I'm eating more now but I'm still losing just one pound a week instead of two. I am going to try adding more protein and cutting fats and see if I can get this last 20 off.
Rianne and Chelle - almost time for you guys. This is so exciting. You are going to do so well. You both have great attitudes - you'll be such losers!!!
Susan, good to hear you're feeling better. You've had quite a rough time but it's like being pregnant, once you get past the tough times you forget how hard it was and can focus on how great you feel.
Janet, the wedding sounds so great. I'm praying about your mother - keep us in the loop. What's up with Stephens - that's mean that they let your daughter get all excited. Oh well, a degree is a degree and we know God's in control so it will all come out as He plans.
Mel, what can I say. I'm so sorry you have had such a lot of problems but hope that, through prayer, you are finally on the way back to feeling like your onery self. We miss you making us laugh.
Craig Lee, nice to see your skinny face - talk to us!!!
Jan, you slow down girlfriend!!! I used to have days like that when I lived in Las Vegas, think it was the heat and I did hate my job there. I'd come home from work and just want to crawl into bed and stay there. So I did!!! Let yourself rest if you need it. The flowers will be there when you are back on your feet. Love you.
Bev, sorry you are having a down day but it's OK. You know what you need to do and you'll get there. We're here for you, always.
I, too, just take my too big clothes and box them up and mail them to my DD. She loves it. New clothes every other week.
I can't wait til the reunion, hope lots of you can come, even if only for Saturday.
Hugs and love to all.
Lana
